De ligging van het hotel blijft top maar elk jaar daalt de kwaliteit en stijgen de prijzen. Het is duidelijk dat het hotel overal wil besparen en dat voel je als gast. De kwaliteit van het eten is minder ook wordt het buffet niet meer aangevuld nadat het geplunderd werd door de vroege eters. Het management zal zich duidelijk moeten beraden over hoe ze toch nog de gekende kwaliteit kunnen bieden.

I wish I could give this hotel a higher rating because there are so many great things about it: ski-in/ski-out with equipment rental and storage so convenient, breakfast and dinner great, and overall service great. However, the rooms are unbearably hot and there is no way to cool them down. So is very hard to sleep and to spend any time at all in the room. It was terribly uncomfortable. Is a shame, but I would not visit again!!

Review: VAYA Obergurgl
I’ve stayed at VAYA Obergurgl a couple of times now, and while the hotel remains completely sufficient for what you need—clean, comfortable, and well-located—I can’t help but feel the quality has dipped, particularly when it comes to the dining experience. The food just doesn’t quite meet the standard it once did, which is a bit disappointing. Still a solid option, but not quite as polished as it used to be.

Highly recommend!
We very much enjoyed our stay here. Staff at the reception, bar and restaurant were outstanding. The breakfast and dinner were both generous and had a wide selection. The ski storage area and the easy access to the lift were fantastic. The only two things that could be improved are the wine selection in the bar and raising the temperature a bit in the outside warm pool

Really nice hotel, rooms are fresh and clean. They’re a good size. Friendly staff, excellent location and tasty food on offer. The hotel is on both sides of the road, east and west are connected by a well lit glass bridge. The swimming pool, relaxation pool and sauna facilities are well equipped and immaculately clean. We could not get an appointment with the spa staff for a massage which was disappointing, but everything else about the hotel is great. Second time here and will book again next year.

The Crystal is THE PLACE TO STAY
This hotel was perfect for our family ski trip!! The apres-ski facilities were wonderful -- pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. (The water temperature in the hot tub needed to be warmer though.) The breakfast and evening meals far exceeded our expectations -- wonderful table service, great variety, and lots of healthy vegetarian and vegan options. Every member of staff was superb -- polite, professional, friendly, and fun!

Gutes Hotel mit Einschränkungen. Sauna zu klein. Duschen mit leerem Shampoo Behälter und verstopften Abfluss. Balkon direkt über dem Aussenpool. Zu laut. Lage top. Sehr freundliches Personal. Frühstück ausbaufähig. Hauptgerichte am Abend extrem klein und wenig. 4Sterne S nicht wert und dafür zu teuer. Garage sehr sehr eng. Kaum Parkfläche.

Very friendly welcome from all staff and beautiful facilities. Spa experience perfect and ski to door makes it super convenient. Heated boot room right next to ski hire shop makes everything super easy! Will definitely return and probably as a couple as it's romantic too
