The location of and service provided at this hotel allows for an incredibly relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Their evening food offering is arguably the best food I have been presented with on a half board plan anywhere in the World. Special mention must go to their pastry chef, some incredible desserts.

Aufgrund eines familiären Todesfalles mussten wir den Urlaub kurzfristig stornieren. Leider hatten wir keine Stornierungsoption aber ich habe auf Verständnis gehofft, leider vergeblich. Das Zimmer war nach unserer Stornierung wieder verfügbar und kurz darauf nicht mehr. Ich muss also davon ausgehen, dass das Zimmer neu vermietet werden konnte, dies weiss ich jedoch nicht und ist daher nur eine Spekulation. Ich hätte wirklich auf ein Entgegenkommen gehofft in einer solchen Situation, wenigstens mit einer Teilrückerstattung oder einer Umbuchungsmöglichkeit. Leider wurde gar kein Verständnis gezeigt sondern nur auf unsere Stornierungsbedingungen verwiesen. So eine Situation ahnt man ja nicht und wir haben den Urlaub nicht aus Spass abgesagt und sitzen nun auf den ganzen Kosten fest. Natürlich denkt man an die Unternehmerische Seite, trotzdem hätte ich bei einem Todesfall auf etwas Verständnis gehofft...wirklich schade und auch bedenklich...

Excellent facilities and friendly staff. Really convenient position on the slope right next to the chairlift too. The staff at the ski shop were also incredibly helpful and were quick to order in equipment that I needed for the next day. Would certainly recommend.

Having stayed in Hochgurgl at different hotels, I was delighted with everything at Top Hotel. Fabulous service from all the friendly staff, including the boss, who checked on us daily, a nice touch. We had a room on the front looking up the valley, delightful. Amazing dining experience and lovely food. Great location next to the chair lift, just a 20m level walk from the ski room entrance. Looking forward to returning.

Fourth visit to Top Hotel. I always worry that the next visit won’t be as good but I shouldn’t have worried. We come for the location, service, food and facilities. In terms of location , I doubt anything can beat it, literally 10 metres from the ski lift with ski hire on site , perfect. In terms of Service the staff are great, very professional and attentive. They make time to chat even if they are busy . Many of them have been there a long time and some are new or on hotel school training but all are excellent and helpful. The food was great , the breakfast buffet as always very extensive and fresh. The lunch selection is lovely and the views from the terrace when the sun is shining is wonderful. Dinner menu was good I would say but the fondue is always top notch and I recommend it highly, always one of the key reasons we come here too. The wine list is extensive with good selection from reasonable price to of course very high end. The facilities are lovely, the pool (indoor and outdoor) , saunas and spa excellent. Our junior suite was ample size for my daughter and I. We had a lovely stay and everything worked seamlessly, from the housekeeping which was really excellent to the transfers to the airport all perfectly arranged and executed. Highly recommend and we would be very happy to return.

The staff created particularly good atmosphere, and were relaxed, friendly and helpful. Loved the spa with its supersteamy hammam and red light infrared therapy saunas! The food was beyond this world and Hochgurgl has one of my fave slopes of all times. I will be back

Inderdaad een top hotel. Alle luxe en toch gemoedelijk. Het eten en het gehele team verdient een dikke 10. Vorig jaar ook enorm genoten maar dit jaar was alles naar een nog hoger niveau. Direct aan de piste. Aanrader is zeker een keer een kaasfondue te nemen in de gezellige stube!

Sehr schönes Hotel mit direktem Zugang zu den Pisten. Leider etwas überteuert und das Personal spricht mehrheitlich Englisch, besonders im Gastrobereich und im SPA. Das Zimmer war sehr gross mit einem schönen Badezimmer. Das Essen war gut, jedoch mussten wir sehr lange warten auf die einzelnen Gänge. Schade für das kulturelle Österreich!
