Very nice hotel in a small quiet town. Rooms were large and clean, staff was very friendly, breakfast was great. Nice change from the busier tourist towns/cities. Quiet and comfortable. The river is right out front and there is views to the hills around, a trail up was a few hundred feet down the road.

Nice Hotel in quite location. Off road safe parking for motorcycles.
Arrived early and room wasn't ready but told they would make it up next.
Owner very accommodating and helpful (as were all staff).
Room had balcony and view to rear.
Restaurant was closed the night we stayed but a 5 minute walk up the road is a bar and restaurant with good food.
Good stopping point if intending to ride the GrossGlockner High Road.

Am meisten waren wir vomm Frühstück enttäuscht. Wir kamen kurz vor 8 Uhr zum Frühstück und das Buffet war wohl von der Busgruppe geplündert worden. Ist ja kein Problem, aber es wurde rein gar nichts mehr aufgefüllt. Es gab 2 Sorten Wurst, Obstsalat war komplett leer. Da die Auswahl wohl grundsätzlich nicht so groß ist, hätte man wenigstens noch etwas auffüllen können.
Der Empfang am Vortag war dagegen sehr nett 👍
Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, obwohl ich gleich ein schwarzes langes Haar im Bett gefunden hatte. Ansonsten aber recht sauber. Balkon war super zum Auslüften der Wanderklamotten.

What a fantastic 💎 Gem. The people running this hotel are brilliant. A great peaceful location in a beautiful valley, definitely worth a stop over. The rooms are clean and our room had a lovely balcony. We will be back for sure. The owners couldn’t do enough to ensure my family were catered for, genuinely lovely people. Thank you

Wir sind ganz spontan am Pfingstsonntag auf den Abend hingekommen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient und das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Portionen waren für uns echt reichlich, so das uns im Nachgang eine Portion plus extra Salat vermutlich gereicht hätte. Wir waren bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal da und planen künftig unseren Zwischenstopp so das wir hier vorbeikommen 😊

Wir waren begeistert vom überaus freundlichen Personal und ganz besonders auch vom Chef, ein wahrer Gastgeber. Und als wir am Fahrrad eine Reifenpanne hatten, bot er sogar noch an, persönlich den Schlauch zu wechseln. (Das haben wir ihm dank Gert, der im Ort eine Werkstatt betreibt, ersparen können.) Bei den Ripperln verspricht Alfred viel. Und hält es auch. Ein Genuss, der buchstäblich auf der Zunge zergeht.
