Hotel Jägerhof Wörthersee - Adults Only

Muß nicht sein, Preis-Leistung! Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht, Wellness nur gegen gewaltigen Aufpreis. Heizung nicht ausreichend für warmes Bad und Zimmer wird nicht war, trotz aufgedrehten Ventil, Vor und Rücklauf alte Ventile. Da hab ich mehr erwartet, Frühstück große Auswahl, aber nicht die beste Qualität, aufgebackene Brötchen und teils noch gefrorenes Brot. Interessante Einrichtung an die man sich gewöhnen muß, sehr hellhörig. Versteh nicht warum da so gute Bewertungen stehen.

The extra €50 to use the sauna is quite steep and for a ham and cheese toastie it's €13.50, it's up to you to decide. It's more of an old house trying to give it a new "glamour". Even if you book a single room, the rooms are clearly showing their age. I've never seen a TV above the box in the corner, for example.

It is always a good sign when the owners take care of the guests themselves, but this is particularly noticeable here. The boss sits at the reception, the mother works in the restaurant, everything under control and close to the guests. The hotel is excellent and decorated with great attention to detail, cleanliness and maintenance are very important. The rooms are very functional and big enough, the mattresses are very good, there are enough boxes and hooks, WiFi is good, everything is clean. The well-covered balconies are big enough for 2 people, or a bit tight for four, and have a nice view. The front rooms look over the driveway to the street and may be a bit noisy for noise-sensitive guests who like to sleep with the window open. The rear rooms are quieter (and a bit more expensive). The breakfast is sensational! A huge selection, great quality and quick refills tempt you to take a longer breakfast break in a densely and harmoniously furnished room. You can have a long breakfast here for several days without ever eating the same food, I have rarely seen something like that and never in this price segment. The newly equipped spa area is an experience in itself. The huge stainless steel pool has everything you need, with a waterfall shower and air bubbles, sauna, infrared, relaxation room, sunbathing terrace and even a small fitness center with good equipment, all of which exceed expectations and take the fear out of rainy days. Full recommendation, we'll definitely be back!

Terrifying experience. We still can't understand how the STRUCTURE can seem so different from the photos: don't be fooled by the photos of the pool, it's an indoor pool with all the sunbeds stuck together in the basement overlooking the parking lot and the road with cars passing by. The interior of the structure, but also the rooms are really unpleasant, a jumble of carpets and chandeliers and fake flowers everywhere. In addition, the TV didn't even work in the room. The LOCATION of the structure is terrible, it seems to be close to the lake, as in the description, while it is located between a state road where cars speed by (also dangerous to cross when you want to go to the lake) and between a railway where trains often pass (also the noise in the evening is really terrifying). To reach the "private beach" it takes at least 10 minutes on foot. The STAFF was inadequate and also cowardly because after having booked this structure only because it “allowed animals”, they made us pay a sum like €60 (€20 per night for a small dog), an absurd sum that they made us pay immediately upon check in and then discovered on what they call the private beach that they were not allowed (discovered only when we were ready to go to the beach because we had been careful to ask, we had not been told either at the time of booking or at the time of check in when we paid €60 for our dog). So to recap, they made us pay €60 as an additional cost for our dog and then made us keep him locked in the room. If we then want to talk about what they call the “private beach” of the hotel, it is only an establishment where they have an agreement with a jumble of people where you have to pay to get a sunbed and umbrella and anything else (a truly disgusting place, it felt like being in a swimming pool in the city in August due to the amount of people on the lawn). We have never experienced anything like this, we ruined 3 days of our vacation for this really unpleasant place. I would define this hotel more as a Hostel, a horror hostel. AVOID IT

The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the lake, furnished in style I appreciated the wellness area small but with everything you need, the breakfast was fantastic, every good thing, the richest I have ever seen in a hotel, well done, as for the rooms they would deserve a bit of maintenance (bathrooms) but in the context we were fine
