Forest City Marina Hotel

When I booked this hotel, my local colleagues did not recommend it because there was no business nearby and it was difficult to have a meal. This is indeed the case. There are only two restaurants and a supermarket nearby. It takes at least 15 minutes by taxi to go to the nearest commercial area. The hotel facilities look very luxurious, but the service and hygiene are completely mismatched. The main problems are: 1. The hotel does not actually have its own laundry service. When I asked the front desk, the front desk suggested that I walk 2 kilometers to a self laundry bar to solve it. If you insist on having the hotel wash it, it is OK, but it will be sent back the day after tomorrow, not the next day. This is the first time I have heard of such a laundry rule. In addition, this laundry is not a service of their hotel, so it is not reflected in the final bill, and they need to print it out (not on the spot, but on WhatsApp) 2. The sanitation of the hotel is worrying. I guess there are not many guests, so the quality of room service has also declined. The first few tens of seconds of water in the bathtub was yellow, and it was obvious that no one had used it for a long time; the dirty towels in the toilet were collected but no new ones were replaced; one day, even the used bath towels were not collected; there was obvious toothpaste dripping on the bathroom sink that was not wiped; there were obvious stains on the towels, and they were not washed clean; the shower gel was gone and they didn't know to replenish it. 3. The facilities are old and the maintenance is too poor. This hotel requires two cards to get into the room, the first one is to open the elevator, and the second one is to open the door. This is the first time I have encountered this; the demagnetization speed of both the elevator card and the room card is amazing, and you basically need to go to the front desk to re-enter the information every two days; within the four days of staying, the telephone in the room has never been used. After leaving the hotel, it was like a ghost town, with only a few living people, and the number of people is probably not as many as crows. Sure enough, it makes sense that the locals don't recommend it.

The room is quite big, with a sea view, but the water pipe in the bathroom is broken and leaking all the time, some plugs have no electricity, and the wall always makes strange noises, and there are not many people staying in the room, so it is very empty. But the breakfast is good.

Many hotels in Singapore have flowers and plants. This kind of flowers looks beautiful and can block the sun, but it is also easy to attract mosquitoes. The hotel has two swimming pools. The beach faces the northwest corner of Singapore across the Johor Strait. The seawater quality is average. The surrounding environment is good, and there are several Chinese restaurants. Alipay built-in Grab overseas taxi, 50 minutes from Johor Bahru Airport to the hotel for 129 yuan. The breakfast is OK.
