Amazing location with breathtaking views. It's the first time we have visited since Gavin and Glenda took over. What can I say amazing hosts who go above and beyond and nothing is too.much trouble. The food was superb. And freshly cooked. We will be back and wish Gavin and Glenda all the very best with this fantastic Hotel and Restaurant. ELLE AND JOHN

Nice cozy and clean hotel, pets are welcome. But the gems are the owners, a britisch couple. Food is excellent, the mystery ****** games give a big laugh and you make new friends. Parking is next to the hotel, safe area. We stayed with a group at christmas 2024

Het hotel ligt aan de voet van de Sierra Espuna. Kamer is prima even als de badkamer. Groot compliment aan de eigenaren Gavin en Glenda, betrokken, attent en niets is teveel. Het eten in 1 woord heerlijk, gekookt met liefde. Onze hondjes waren welkom.

na het ongeluk hebben deze mensen ons geholpen. ze hoefden het niet te doen, maar ze deden het wel. goede mensen die gewoon willen helpen. goede mensen. ze hebben ons allebei geholpen en ons echt welkom geheten in hun hotel. en we moeten nog steeds betalen voor de koffie die ze ons gaven

What a find this lovely hotel is and the location is perfect. Gavin is a great host and the food is wonderful. We first visited in September and when our friend visited us from the US we had to take her there and she was equally impressed. We have booked for Christmas and cannot wait to spend time enjoying the food and company. Not sure the 2 recent reviews have the same place in mind because their reviews absolutely do not give a true reflection of the hotel or its hosts. There is always someone wanting to spread undeserved negativity, sadly it's reflection of who they are and not who they are reviewing.

A big disappointment all over. The room and bed were reasonably good, but didn't justify the price. We stayed in better rooms for half the amount of money. Though the name of the place suggests a Spanish hotel but it is run by an English couple without any experience in the hotel branche, and the male half could do with some intensive customer care training. The food was edible and that is the most positive we can say about it. The area is beautiful and worth visiting, but we recommend a different place to stay, because the Mariposa is a waste of money.
