Stayed for one evening and that was enough. Outside in the parking lot were a group of people playing music, playing games, a bbq and were so noisy. Inside kids running crazy in the halls. The room itself is nice and comfortable but if you need a place to unwind from a long day, this is not the place. Breakfast consisted of cold eggs and bacon. Definitely pass on this hotel. There are many other options available

Hot tub for after snowsports

The tub faucet dripped steadily all night. The room # 130 hotel room door did not shut all the way - a 1/4" gap remained even with the deadbolt on. Lastly, a toenail was found in the middle of the bed, and it wasn't mine or my spouse's. I took pictures and informed the young woman at the desk of all that was wrong. Even if they had changed the sheets as they later insisted, that toenail somehow survived sheets being washed, dried and installed on a bed. Go figure.... We have stayed here multiple times over the last 5 years and never had any issues. We were dismayed by what we encountered on this last trip. This was the first time I asked to be refunded for a room, and I'm over 65. They refused. They gave me a token 1,000 points, which won't do me any good because I won't be back.

This was our first time staying here. We had a friendly and efficient check in. Our room was comfortable and clean and had two queen sized beds, microwave, fridge, and a Keurig machine. There was also an in-room safe. The pool area had a clean shower and a well stocked supply of towels. There were high ceilings above the pool and lots of windows, which was great for letting in natural light. It was nice to have a hot tub after a long day! Breakfast was provided from 6-10 a.m. The breakfast room was comfortable. It wasn’t busy when we were there, but additional seating was available in other rooms if needed. There were hot items (scrambled eggs and bacon plus you could make waffles) as well as cereal, yogurt, breads, English muffins and bagels. Fresh apples and pears were also available. The Best Western Gaylord is at exit 282 off I-75…a half a mile once you exit, if that!
