I had a great experience staying at Elite. The location is great and the access to the railway station and the shopping areas is good. The breakfast choices were great. Highly recommend it.

A nice hotel, well situated in central Gävle. The staff is very professional and friendly. The breakfast contains almost everything I wanted (except for real American pancakes). The room (306) is rather large and well equipped but there are some flaws in the bathroom that I notified the hotel about. The only bad thing about the room is that it doesn't have air conditioning.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage, zentral und trotzdem beschaulich. Unser Zimmer war grundsätzlich wie beschrieben und sehr gut. Leider funktionierten schon bei Ankunft der Kühlschrank und der Fernseher nicht: die Sicherung war anscheinend herausgesprungen und musste wieder eingesetzt werden. Dann kühlte die Klimaanlage leider nicht wirklich spürbar. Wirklich enttäuscht waren wir vom Frühstück: die freien Tische waren noch verkrümelt von den Vorgänger*innen und es lagen auch bei einem Tisch noch Käsescheiben auf dem Boden. Kaffee gab es nur vorgebrüht aus einem großen Tank; daneben waren die Porzellantassen ausgegangen und es wurde auf Pappbecher verwiesen ... "willkommen im Grand Hotel". Wir haben unser Frühstück dann immer auswärts eingenommen. Das Hotel kam uns hier aber großügig entgegen. Als besonders erfreulich und gut haben wir dann wiederum am Abend die Hotelbar mit ihren Cocktails erlebt. Es gab eine kleine aber gute Menüauswahl von speziellen Cocktails und auch klassische Cocktails konnten bestellt werden und waren für unseren Geschmack alle sehr gut gelungen.
