Howard Johnson by Wyndham Downtown Gatlinburg

Would not stay here again. We arrived on Thursday and left this morning. The girl working the desk put us into a room that didn’t even exist. We unloaded our car twice and were walking thru both buildings to only find out that room 224 doesn’t exist. So that wasted a good hour. Then had to go over 3x because our room keys kept deactivating. The room itself was dirty, black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and around shower grab bar. Hair on the floor that was never swept. The bedding appeared clean, although the orange thing they drape at the edge of each bed had foot prints and old crusted food on them. Beds are uncomfortable, a big hump in the middle. We never Took our clothes out of our bags because when we opened up the drawers below the TV there was hair and a lot of dust in them. The only positive thing about this hotel is the location, it’s a 5 minute walk to the main ***** which is convenient.

Comfortable and Clean accommodations. Older hotel remodeled. Location is perfect for touring the town. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bears do roam the town at night so do not leave food in your vehicles or on the balconies and patios or you will be sorry!

Great Stay Very nice rooms and very clean. Quiet area Close to shops and entertainment. No breakfast but free coffee and orange juice all day long. Price was very nice. Fire pits outside. Parking was easy Nice area to visit. We drove from Delaware

Great place to stay for walking downtown (one block from light 6) and so convenient for hiking Mt LeConte trails off Roaring Fork Motor Trail. Rooms are spacious and clean. Older facility but floors are new and some updates done. Two small pools.balcony has two nice chairs.

Everything was perfect. Great location to get to every destination in Gatlinburg. The staff is amazing. Rooms are very clean. You even get to experience seeing bears walking thru at night. Definitely must see Cades cove. You love hiking that's most definitely the place to go. Just so many places in Gatlinburg you will love.

Got to sit out on balcony and watch the bears walk through parking lot in evening. The walk to town was very close. Didn’t have any issues with room or parking. Really convenient to shopping and fun. The national forest entrance was a really short drive. I also would suggest the bypass to Pigeon Forge has a couple good look outs and got to see more bears along side road way.

Went up and beyond our expectation . Everything was perfect and great.Room was perfect and we had a private balcony.

The room was infested with millions of nats (bugs with wings) . Probably won’t stay again. In fact we checked out day earlier than expected as it made both wife and I feel buggy the whole time in room. This was first for us experiencing as we had stayed here several time before.
