Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Gatlinburg at the Convention Center

This is one of the best places to stay while in Gatlinburg. It is always clean very close to everything and the swimming pool is always clean as well. Service is always excellent. Well always try this place 1st when going to Gatlinburg

Staff is very friendly, helpful and check in was fast. Ample parking. Beds are comfy and rooms are adequate with fridge and microwave. Rocking chairs in front of your room and plenty of chairs around the pool. Also off the hustle and bustle of the Main Street.

Very good experience staying here. Room was ok we just stayed for one night. The lady at the reception was very nice and sweet. Easy parking for free, close access to sky bridge. We just parked our car and walked. I suggest that hotel should change their bedsheets because they looked old.

Honestly if I could I would rate zero stars. We went to stay at this place and everything seem okay until I went to sleep, I was waking up scratching harshly my left knee and didn’t think nothing of it, maybe it was mosquito idk, after checking out I wasn’t rlly concerned abt it because it probably was going to where off. No, next day I had abt 3 horrible rashes and more days came and they were becoming purple, I went to them and they told me since “I didn’t show them whenever I checked out” they can’t do anything abt it so now I have to go back tomorrow to the manager and see what they’re going to do because they weren’t even considerate abt it

This is an older hotel in need of updates & cleaning Booked a double queen with sofa bed only to find the sofa was not a bed but we made it work Under the cushions was pretzels, crackers, candy & popcorn we used paper towels to clean it out The floors were wood and very dirty in need of a mop and steam clean, the drop ceiling had multiple water stains, the tub was dirty we cleaned it with a bottle of bathroom cleaner and sponge we always travel with. The staff was hard to locate as they were upgrading the office and working from a nearby room. Parking very limited. Although reviews stated breakfast was minimal that was not the case there was none offered. The pool looked clean several guests used it although we didn’t The only plus was location to parkway was within a block Not worth 400$ for a 3 night stay

Location and free parking are pretty much all this place has going for it. It's a block off the main street, near Gatlinburg Skypark and Sugarlands Shine. The closest trolley stop is at Bubba Gump Shrimp, which is two blocks away. At least the bed was comfortable. A lot of areas could use a good cleaning. At least you can get a cup of coffee, but not much else.

My family and I have stayed at this hotel for the Christmas parade for years. The staff has always been pleasant and the location is great. Over the years we have enjoyed our stay and had few complaints. However over the last couple of years we have noticed an obvious difference in the cleanliness of the rooms. 2 years ago they gave us a room that had not even been cleaned yet, still full of trash and dirty towels and unmade beds. We overlooked this as they apologized and cleaned the room while we were at dinner. Last year we had some more bad luck when our keys were deactivated 30 minutes before check out time. We were told it was because they let us check in a few minutes early the day we arrived. Also the sink had clearly not been cleaned as there was toothpaste on the faucet. Last chance- this year the floors were so dirty that a Clorox wipe came up black with one swipe. I was afraid to even walk in socks in the room. Also the keys deactivated again 30 minutes early! And this time we checked in an hour later than check in so there was not an excuse. It’s sad to see a tradition end but we will not be back again. I’m not sure if there was a change in management or housekeeping staff but the quality has severely decreased over the last few years.
