Great place for Sunday lunch, good service and delicious food. The Feather Blade of Borders Beef was particularly good served with a selection of vegetables, including cauliflower cheese and roast potatoes with a delicious gravy. The dining room is a relaxing place to eat with a nice ambiance.

Brilliant service and excellent food, highly recommended, and we’re fussy ! Pranav absolutely nails a Sunday roast and the previous evening’s curry was fabulous. The team were attentive and very happy, we’ll be back as soon as possible!!

Returning customer for around 2 years now I think. No wonder they’ve won awards for their excellence. Fantastic hotel and I love it here & will always recommend a stay. Fantastic friendly staff. Breakfast is delicious and they cater for everyone. Dinner menu changes per season and it’s always busy, so best to book.

Just had our 3rd stay here at the Murray Arms. Cannot rate this place high enough.. so pleased we came across this little gem a year ago. The rooms are beautifully decorated, our favourite so far is room 10 with the lovely Highland Cow decor, its very spacious, spotlessly clean, good sized bathroom, tea & coffee making facilities & very quiet. Breakfast is always a great experience, great choice, friendly & efficient staff, never had to wait long for a delicious, freshly cooked breakfast. We ate in the restaurant each evening, the staff made us feel very welcome on arrival.. between us we had 4 different meals off the menu & all were very well presented & equally delicious. Would definitely recommend to my family & friends.

A truly delightful hotel in a lovely, sleepy Scottish village. I can honestly stay it’s one of the best appointed hotels I’ve stayed in. The decor/design is wonderfully detailed and our room was immaculate. It felt like we were the first to set foot in the room. It was beautiful. The communal areas were also styled beautifully and both breakfast and Sunday lunch were plentiful and delicious. We will definitely return. .

We had Sunday lunch. This is served until 7pm.so it's a nice early evening option. We ate in the bar area, but both and restaurants were bright and well presented. Service efficient and helpful. There was a choice of pork,lamb,beef blade,steak, and a vegetarian option. All came with roasties and parsnips and yorkshire pudding. Generous servings of red cabbage,carrots, and cauliflower cheese served along side. The beef blade was melt in the mouth tender and lamb delicious We were too full for pudding, unfortunately. Good selection wines.

Beautiful hotel with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Gorgeous decor throughout. Had dinner and breakfast and couldn't fault it. Really tasty. Staff are very attentive. Will definitely be back and thoughroughly recommend . Lorna and Marc from Glasgow
