Good for the price Room was clean, a bit dated, but it was ok. Staff is friendly and helpful. It's the only affordable hotel in the area and I visit there quite often so I'll be staying there again soon.

I thought that we would give the Cronk's Oakridge Motel another try, even though our last experience was not that great. But everyone deserves a second chance , to see if they had improved in the areas that were lacking and a concern from our last stay. I received a call after a couple hours from the management stating that they refuse to rent a room to me, since last time I was there I was not satisficed and had complained. So I would say they probably did not improve on some of these areas. What a shame, we have such a large group that often stays together, this year we will be staying else where.

It was difficult to deal with the front desk. The young man mumbled, and they had a thick glass panel with a small slot at the bottom, presumably to pass money. It was nearly impossible to communicate. The sheets on the sofa were of dubious cleanliness. The light for the range hood did not work. Not even a burnt out bulb, but no bulb, at all. It is hard to cook in shadows. The lights are low powered. With both of them turned on, it is still dimly lit. For a small town, there seemed to be an unusual amount of noise in the hallway outside our room. The cookware and flatware are poor. Much of the dinnerware is melamine. Overall, not a good experience

Horrible stay, terrible staff! Everything seemed to go wrong from the very start of our stay. When we checked in and tried to enter our room, the door wouldn't open and I had to get someone to open the door. They got it open but the moment you close it again it wouldn't open with the key card. They decided to move us to a different room. After getting us a new card for the new room, one of the staff pulled all the towels out of the original room and carried them into the new room. When we were given access to the new room, we noticed the tub was dirty. There was actual dirt in the bottom of the tub. There was a spot that looked like blood on the curtain and the mattress cover was stained. The first night we barely got any sleep. The mattress was horrible on both beds so we took the bed that felt the best of the two. The next day we both used the bathroom and the toilet didn't want to flush. I spent some time trying to get it to go down and it finally did. We left for the day and returned in the evening to the bathroom floor covered in water. Sometime during the day the toilet backed up and overflowed. The rest of the day the sink, toilet and shower didn't want to drain. We had to plunge the toilet every time we used it. About 4am in the morning the toilet, sink, and shower started backing up and sewer gas was expelling into the room. Had to wake up the staff and they knew it was doing it. We asked for a refund and they would only refund half of the final nights stay. Never going back there again.

This was by far the worst place I’ve stayed at. Room was not what i requested online, i was charged what i requested online (more expensive) and yet was given a cheaper room. Staff seemed incompetent and unprofessional. The room was very disgraceful. Dirty carpets. Tiny tv with hardly any channels available. There was no coffee maker or coffee. The beds were hard as a rock. Room was dark with very little lighting. The shower curtain rod was old and rusty. The list could go on. And this was supposed to have been a nice romantic weekend with my fiancee. Horribly disappointed.

Have you ever thought, I would love to live in a prison or a mental hospital? Then this is the place for you! From the concrete painted walls, to the dirty floors, the neighbors that are so loud you cannot think in your own room. The bathroom that is so bland, you're not sure what has gone in their in the past to the toilet paper that feels like tree bark as it is wiped across your private parts. The uncertainty of what you will find lurking underneath the blankets. The fear that you will bring home unwanted guests, makes the biggest part of the excitement of the stay!
