We recently vacationed in a villa with our family, booked 2 rooms, the place is very beautiful and the nature of Lake Garda is truly magnificent!
But!!! A situation happened, a very unpleasant one, in one of the rooms in the closet, we left a men's T-shirt, my gift to my husband! I wrote to the hotel asking to give it back, we are ready to come back for it! They don’t know anything and haven’t seen anything ((( How so??? The Italian Hermes T-shirt has disappeared.... I ask them to check the cameras, who cleaned the room!!??? Silence... the item was simply stolen(((

This is a special place.
Stunning property, meticulously maintained and managed, with genuinely warm service (not universally the case with 5* in Italy). Expensive but you get what you pay for. It’s superb.
Only downside is that it’s a historic property and you need to accept - ideally, welcome - its quirks. But the things that matter - plumbing, electrics and HVAC - all work faultlessly.

It is a 2-hour drive from Venice Airport. The lakeside environment is beautiful and clean. The hotel has a Michelin restaurant, and my wife is very satisfied.
The facilities in the entire room are quite satisfactory and are relatively new and clean in Europe.
I went to a SPA and the service was okay. The swimming pool is relatively small, and the entire hotel is not large.

Hotel bellissimo, curato in ogni minimo dettaglio. Noi avevamo la camera deluxe vista lago, stupenda. Ampia, dotata di ogni confort e necessità. La colazione ottima, abbondante, molto varia e con prodotti locali e ricercati. Lo staff accomodante e disponibile, pronto a rispondere ad ogni esigenza. Siamo stati “coccolati” in ogni momento del soggiorno. Consiglio il bar “la Terrazza” per un aperitivo (un ringraziamento a Ramas che ci ha preparato degli ottimi drink) e il ristorante “il Pescatore” dove abbiamo degustato piatti raffinati e di elevata qualità. Abbiamo usufruito della spa, anche quella bellissima, pulita e dotata di ogni confort. Questa struttura é un posto dove potersi rilassare e rigenerare, un posto da cui non vorresti più andartene. Consigliato in ogni aspetto.

The Grand Hotel Fasano is a nice hotel, with great views over the Lake and very attentive staff. This was overshadowed by events. On day 5, the hotel was overwhelmed by American wedding parties – maybe 80 people. The peace of the hotel was shattered as the parties asserted their presence and demands. Other guests came 2nd as bars were overrun, the terrace hosted noisy late-night parties and the kitchen was challenged. I noted at the time that my scallops tasted odd and my trout was only just warm when served. By 11 pm I was very sick with diarrhea and vomiting all night. I suspected food poisoning. The noise from the wedding parties on the terrace below added to the misery. My wife spoke to Hotel Guest Relations -HGR. They had no sympathy, noting that it was likely a bug (but other guests spoke about being ill that morning); the hotel had served scallops for years and they had been ‘caught out’ by the wedding parties who booked individually; their behaviour could not be controlled. I remained ill. We spoke again with HGR as my condition was not being taken seriously. A doctor visiting other guests that morning, also saw me. The hotel agreed, without admission, to pay for the doctor. On leaving, HGR suggested that I ‘brought the bug to the hotel with me’, noting that the diagnosis on my prescription (confidentiality?) was ‘acute gastroenteritis’. I explained the doc could not be sure of my sickness without a blood test but the results would not be ready before we left. Unlikely to return.

What an amazing experience at the Grand Hotel Fasano. We were welcomed warmly by the staff upon our arrival. We were treated to a delicious welcome drink on the gorgeous outdoor bar facing the lake. Having limited Italian was not a problem. The staff spoke impeccable English. The guest relation manager - Giuseppina was absolutely terrific. Our room had a fabulous view of the magnificent lake and mountains. The breakfast was out of this world. I highly recommend this fabulous hotel. Our only complaint was we weren’t here long enough. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so memorable.

Ein Traum von der Begrüssung bis ins spa - hatten leider nur regen aber das tolle Hotel hat einem alles versüsst. Zimmer sind etwas old school aber schön Kinder sind willkommen - freuen uns auf ein anderes Mal. Essen und Drinks sehr gut . Personal nett und freundlich
