Shawn is an amazing host. We stayed in the Lookout cabin, which truly lived up to its name. The cabin has amazing views. We woke up to elk every morning, enjoyed all the activities the area had to offer and then enjoyed the captivating views from the porch in the evening. Shawn was gracious enough to put together a wonderful veggie and dip tray for our family to enjoy. This cabin is perfect for couples or families alike!

This was our second stay at the cabins. It is a great experience every time we go and we can’t wait to go back next year. The host family is amazing and very knowledgeable of the area and able to answer all questions. Both houses we have stayed in have been clean and a great set up for our family.

Property owners have no scruples or morals. Once they take your money at booking, there is no getting it back ! Period ! Doesn’t matter whether you had to cancel due to a medical emergency, natural disaster, death in the family etc… Shawn will initially say that money will be refunded if they can rent out the cabins on cancellation, but the icing on the cake is that once u cancel, they will rent the place out to others and make double money. Morally & ethically derelict !

Great cabin vacation just north of Yellowstone National Park and Gardiner, MT (only a few minutes). This is a great family run small business perfect basecamp for a one of a kind family adventure! Easy access off HWY 89 near Yellowstone Hot Springs.

We love staying in the homestead cabin. The owners of the property are so accommodating and friendly we felt like we left with lifelong friends. Only a few miles from the park and the hot springs! Super clean, budget friendly, and in my opinion the best place to stay if visiting YNP :)

Two thumbs up! Owners are onsite & very accommodating. We've stayed at least 12 times in the last 8 years, in 3 of their 4 cabins. Each has been very clean & very well stocked including all your cooking needs so you don't need to run to town. These guys are only 4 mi from the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park, and Gardner, Montana. There are horses on property which are great to watch, elk in the yard almost daily! Can't wait to go back again!

Be very careful dealing with these guys. They have no scruples. Once they take your money it will be very difficult to get it back, whatever the reason may be... cancellation, medical emergency, etc etc. She wont even pick up the phone or return messages ! I cant comment on the property, but there are plenty of other reviews on how they let cats out which decimate the local bird and small mammal population in and around the national park. Also seem to be avid hunters. Avoid if possible !
