Family-friendly Hotels in Gaoyou

The hotel is in a good location, surrounded by commercial areas, and within five kilometers of Zhenguo Temple, Yuchengyi and other scenic spots. The hotel staff is very friendly and enthusiastic. The room is clean and the breakfast is rich.

I drove from Yangzhou to Gaoyou to see the lake. I didn't regret choosing this hotel. Although there was no reception, the parking attendant was very enthusiastic and answered all questions. The car could be parked at the front door of the hotel, which was very convenient. The room was a bit old, but very clean. Fruits and black rice porridge were arranged when I returned to the room at night. The service was very good and basically met the needs of the guests. The biggest highlight was that the room window was to the west, and you could see Gaoyou Lake. In the evening and early morning, the golden lake water was very beautiful.

The hotel is good. The front desk, cleaning and service staff are all very enthusiastic and responsible. The room facilities are complete, the shower has a large amount of water, and there is a small refrigerator. The location is good, there are restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The hotel provides a buffet breakfast with rich varieties. It is an old four-star hotel with high cost performance and worth staying.

The wind and rain chased people on the night. Self-driving north, just in time for a strong typhoon, all the way is heavy rain, a long time later than the expected arrival time. The front desk of the hotel Xiao Zhang was very good. He communicated the route to the store in advance. He arrived at the store late at night because of the rain. It was also very thoughtful service. He took an umbrella to the parking lot in the rain. Really good hotel, very humane. The room was large, the breakfast was good, and the stay was very comfortable.

高郵一一因郵而驛，因郵而興。23日（初二），我們入住的皇華驛館，是揚州皇華國際大酒店旗下的一家全國唯一郵文化民俗主題精品酒店。驛館以東方郵都為主線，以郵驛文化為主題，構建了“魅力郵都”的新名片。驛館前廳、通道、牆面、樓梯，布展了許多郵品，郵票和集郵文獻，彩色複製的《京杭大運河水系圖》，我還是第一次見到。甚至連有些酒店用品，也充滿了郵味。竟然把酒店辦成了能吃，能住，能看的郵文化主題博物館。早晨是在皇華國際大酒店自助餐廳用餐，酒店還安排歡迎禮和入住禮，處處提現了管理者的用心，非常滿意的旅行。

酒店地理位置不錯，交通便利，設施齊全，房間寬敞，服務熱情周到，以後再來北京，還會選這家店。這家酒店的工作人員都很熱情，特別是管家小哥，隊於他的服務態度表示感謝！

The location is good next to the Donghu Wetland Park (walking distance) although it's hard getting around if you don't have a car. The place is big, and you get a balcony with your room. It's also quiet. Unfortunately, the day I was leaving, my Didi/taxi driver I got ended up wasting my time for 30min (he kept driving further away from me--I don't know why) and then canceled on me and made me miss my train (I'm sure the hotel staff remember me exploding on the phone with him in the lobby). The hotel was good enough to arrange a ride for me (although I still didn't make the train on time). Luckily, I was able to get another train as I had to be at work at 7am the next morning. Anyway--it's a fine hotel for the money, but I wish transportation from there was a bit more reliable/frequent.
