2-Star Hotels in Gangtok

I specifically wanted the good internet speed for that i even called up the hotel to ensure the same before booking. They confirmed the speed of internet is good but it was not the case. I couldn't not do my urgent office work because of the speed of 2 mbps. I went to hotel royal orchid opposite to the property to access the internet and attend my urgent office work. Property is not good for people who slightly work on holidays

When I entered the property there was no Caretaker & there was no electricity. I asked about that one Lady was there she said, that guy will come shortly. Anyhow he came half an hour back and told me that there is no one in the hotel except him. No cook, No house keeping staff, No boy nothing. The entire building is empty and with zero staff. At night when I entered the hotel around 10pm electricity is there but ag around 12 o clock light💡 went of till I checked out around 6.30 am. Think in this kind of climatic condition ( Temp around 3°-4°) due to no electricity🔌 neither the heater is working not geysers. suffering from cold entire night. I would ask Make My Trip how would you even recommend. This is a third grade hotel not even deserve 0 rating. You should return my money. You misguided me and took my money. I am looking for your reply.

The hotel room were decent enough and the staff was also polite. One problem i seen was some smell coming from the room other then that location was very good with amazing view and also it is very close to nathula check post, so best to avoid morning traffic.

Very recommended hotel. 1. Spacious room n bathroom with very comfortable bed 2. View from balcony is SUPERB ( room 303) 3. Hot Shower (Really Hot) 4. Kettle in room 5. Location is superb. Walking distance to MG Marg. To get to this hotel, from Hungry Jack Hotel, use stair case downward to the Mosque.. until end and turn left.
