It was an ok experience. The hotel is a little run down in parts. Service at the dinner rooms were not always the best. The staff are not really bothered and would not give the menu quickly for instance. The room was nice but again it was not in the main block.. there was something missing in the hotels experience. The free evening tea and snack was awful. Yea was made terribly and the snack was tasteless. There are better evening tea service in places with yum snacks. This was plain simple boring and stingy at giving good food.
Personally I would not stay here again.

It's a perfect place for a memorable family holiday. We had come to Gangtok earlier also and stayed at different places but the Mayfair turned out to be the best in terms of the accommodation, the dining and overall the ambience. The thoughtfulness shown by prabhav and prasanta in orchid was fabulous and will be remembered for long.

Had a wonderful stay at Mayfair Gangtok in July. Big thanks to Chef Udit for the amazing food and Mr. Biswajit Dey for the warm hospitality. Also grateful to Prabhap, Sunita, Rajashri, and Prasant for their kind and thoughtful service. The team truly made the experience memorable!

Wonderful service from all the staff, including CG, Binita, Pranab, Prabhav, Prasanta, Biswajit, Nimchiki. Beautiful facility and very comfortable and spacious rooms. Will definitely return.
