Lift Issues: The lift was malfunctioning throughout my stay, causing major inconvenience. It was never repaired. Poor Hospitality: The overall hospitality was extremely lacking. Staff were rude and unprofessional. The staff, particularly two individuals—Partha and Anita Rai—were extremely rude and unprofessional. Partha, whose contact number is listed on the hotel’s website, gave me promises that turned out to be completely false. He is a fraud, and you cannot rely on any of his words or assurances. Anita Rai, on the other hand, was downright disrespectful. Her behavior was unbecoming of someone working in hospitality. Instead of offering assistance, she was dismissive and rude. There was absolutely no effort to make guests feel welcomed or comfortable. Lack of Training: The hotel staff clearly lacks proper training in hospitality and customer service. Conclusion: I would not recommend this hotel. The proprietor should focus on teaching their staff proper hospitality before taking any more bookings. At the end the positive side of the hotels is Only the Location and the rooms

Staffs are very rude as if they don't want guests to be in their hotel. Room was ready after 2 hours of check-in , tv doesn't works.
Food is overpriced, rather highly priced.
If you book superior room they provide you with deluxe rooms. Please avoid this hotel in gangtok.

We booked our stay at jewel of the east residency & spa property. We kept our luggage at their clock room & went to north sikkim. When we came back we came to know that due to water problem our luggage was shifted to their another property named jewel of the east. This property was not located near the mall. More over we booked view rooms in the jewel of the east residency & spa, but in the property where we were shifted had no views at all. We weird allotted rooms located in the basement portion. During our stay in the hotel the water problem was not solved & we were had no option but to stay at the other property. All this shifting & all was not done at our consent. It was only when we contacted the property from north sikkim that we will be checking in late, then only we came to know about this shifting & all.

Location, food all good but the noise of people roaming outside you can able to hear. So it’s very irritating at night when you are about to sleep.

Property location is good and the service is in proper time. But the day we arrived, from the reception they told that 1 room is allotted for us whereas we booked 2 rooms. They wanted to send us to another branch of hotel they had. This is not at all expected. After arguing they provided the room in the hotel we had booked for. Even they had not provided the car they had promised to and took money for instead they had given a small car saying other car are not available.
