I booked to stay one night with my father. Their staff are so amazing they changed the room immediately as my father could not walk too many stairs. So I would like to say their staff and hospitality is top notch.
The room was really nice however there was a sound that came from the kitchen exhaust which was like a generator. So until the kitchen shut at 10pm this noise was there. This is the only negative part of my stay. The other suggestion I have is to have some room to do exercises or games room or something.
Its an amazing property. Loved it.

This was my first time at an Elgin heritage property and the charm and what makes it special are the small details. The monogrammed china and serving sets, the ******* and Sikkimese furniture and decorations. The property abounds with historic photos and artwork. But really what is truly special are the views.

Not worth the money. Does not feel like a personalized experience, no balcony. Staff is just doing the bare minimum

attention pas de chauffage ou d’air conditionné par respect pour le lieu
Point négatif: literie très ferme, les objets en plastique bon marché pour porte savon ou plateau pour la théière…

Really lovely and historic hotel in downtown Gangtok. The hotel feels like a living museum with the art, artifacts, and architecture. The staff were wonderful and friendly. Overall, a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful luxurious experience during our stay in the norkhill. Overall ambience of the hotel gives you a royal feel and kudos to the entire staff and the management for giving us a memorable expreience and a wonderful stay at gangtok

First of all there is no elevator while we were 76 year old couple. Going to 3rd fl was pain. We paid for three guest in advance for 4 nights and we went there, the reception wanted us to pay for 3rd person in room Rs 3500 per day. We had to literally fight about it by showing them the ******* Receipt for advance payement. They would still not agree until we told them (threatened rather) that we would put it on social media.
Food was ok. Kitchen staff was great though!

Excellent staff, the manager is very good and hospitable. We thoroughly enjoyed with hilt-on as well. Food was mind blowing. Only place i would stay in gangtok.

Rooms are very nice and clean. Services are excellent and you can view kanchenjunga hills from your room only. Very nicely located properry
