Amritara Hidden Land

I recently stayed at Amritara Hidden Land, and I had a very pleasant experience overall. The room was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged with all the essential amenities. The bed was especially comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job keeping the room tidy throughout my stay. It was a quiet, peaceful environment—perfect for rest and relaxation. The food experience was equally impressive. Whether it was the breakfast buffet or à la carte meals, everything was fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. We stayed at Amritara in our recent trip to Gangtok.Its a lovely hotel and our room Tara had an amazing magnificent , serene and beautiful view of the Valley. The staff is courteous amd room service is super quick. Amenities are amazing and location is perfect too. The cookies were awesome and a delight to eat . Complimentary coffee and tea were dissapointing.

The hotel's entire decor is hand-carved in traditional Sikkim designs, making the premises a work of art. The staff is very friendly, always willing to help, and the manager, Prakash Panwar, is exceptionally accommodating. The beds are extremely comfortable and you have commanding views of Gangtok from hotel terraces. I highly recommend this treasure in the heart of Gangtok.

This property is a surprise in Gangtok. Please do not go on the cover of the book, I mean the facade and the entrance. It's beautiful from inside. The rooms are unbelievably beautiful with a balcony. The ambience, staff and the food is amazing. It elevates the experience altogether. Since we were vegetarians, the chef made special arrangements for our breakfast. The hotel is reachable to the market area too. This place is much recommended. Thank you to the entire staff to make it worth it.

I travelled to Gangtok for the first time last week. As a new traveler in that region, I was completely skeptical about the quality of hotels. I booked Amritara Hidden Land after researching on the internet. I was pleasantly surprised and had a great experience due to the following reasons: - 1. Convenient location: The hotel is located a few steps away from the District Court. MG Marg (primary market in the region) is about 10–12-minute drive from the hotel. Shared taxis are available right outside the District Court. 2. Courteous staff: This was probably the highlight of the trip. All the staff members including the property manager, front desk executives and the servers were extremely polite and took good care of us. Calling out a few names out of memory – Mr. Prakash Panwar (Operations Manager), Rahul, Rupesh Rawat, Sunil and Rajan Rai. Apologies for missing out other names, but a common thanks to all staff working at the hotel. 3. Quality of rooms: We booked the Tara rooms which had a beautiful valley view from the balcony. The rooms were spacious and clean and we could easily fit in an extra mattress. 4. Great food: The quality portion sizes were good. We ended up dining at the hotel almost every day. As a vegetarian, I would recommend the Dal Fry and veg momos. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice and peaceful stay with your family. Once again, thanks to the entire hotel staff members for their hospitality.

The hotel was clean and the staff were generous, especially Sudarshan ji. We had a wonderful stay at the hidden land ! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the main attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel!"
