環境很好,房間太小了,兩人住,隨身帶的箱子打開後,幾乎沒有活動空間. 性價比不高。

Such a delight to stay at this historical home, a bedrock of the community. John and Steve are wonderful hosts, kind and helpful in every way, as are all the staff. Comfy beds, beautiful decor, with many local references. We stayed in Garden #2 for 3 nights. Much appreciated was the attention to detail in John and Steve's hospitality, in my new 'Home Away from Home'. See you again soon, I hope!

What a wonderful experience we had staying at the The Woodview Inn. We had the Elizabeth Suite for 3 nights and felt so comfortable. John and Steve are wonderful Hosts and make you feel right at home. Our check in with Karen was also very pleasant. We had dinner in Graydon's in the Inn, which was a lovely meal was great atmosphere.

This is a nice venue in a quite unique location. Welcome is friendly, the rooms are small (especially the Garden Suite) but the bed is comfortable. Good venue to explore the area. The not so good points are: the size of bathroom and the area to store clothes (no place for it), so be prepared to use your suitcase as basis for the cloth storage. Also there is no space to eat inside the room, so the breakfast delivered to the room has to be taken on your knees. The really poor part is the breakfast, understand that they do not have staff for the breakfast, but serving a cold breakfast, and have butter and cheese with no bread is really not the standard you would expect from a small boutique hotel / or bed & breakfast. I did mention that the bread would be good to be added, but as these was mentioned in the past two years by other guests, I do not think they will change anything about it in the future. Still for a short stay and being prepared to have a cold not complete breakfast I can recommend the hotel because the place is really nice and the village is worth a visit. And as there is not much other choices, these is convenient.

My wife and I recently stayed three nights at The Woodview Inn and truly loved our time there. The property is beautiful, full of character, and extremely well maintained. While we didn’t have a perfect stay, we had a lovely one. We would absolutely return. We stayed in the Grover Suite, a cozy room with two double beds on the 3rd floor, where the attic would typically be. We’re active and had no trouble bringing our luggage up the stairs. The room was incredibly clean and pleasant. We appreciated the small touches, like having decaf coffee pods available without needing to ask. That was a thoughtful detail for my wife, who avoids caffeine. That said, a few things may be worth mentioning for future guests. The building is over a century old, and although it’s clear the owners take great care in its upkeep (every detail reflects that), staying in a heritage property comes with quirks. The floors felt slightly uneven, maybe due to the carpet or just the structure itself, and the window A/C unit, while effective, was a bit noisy. These weren’t issues for us, but some guests might prefer to know in advance. Breakfast: Elegant Idea, Modest Portions We spent some time discussing breakfast before booking. We knew from the reviews that it would be served in a cooler basket rather than as a full-service meal. Honestly, breakfast is the most important meal of the day for me, and I tend to prioritize protein, but I respect the cooler approach. Anyone who has managed a business knows how challenging it is to minimize waste while offering a quality experience. I believe the owners came up with a creative and elegant solution. You can enjoy breakfast in your room, out on the patio, or in the dining area. They even provide sunscreen and bug repellent by the patio door. The contents of the cooler were always fresh and tasty: lots of fruit, natural juice, scones, pound cake, muffins, and a small cheese bar. Aside from the cheese, everything leaned toward the sweet side, mostly carbs, with nothing savoury. That said, the portions were modest. The basket just wasn’t quite enough for two adults like us, especially for a big guy like me. But that wasn’t a problem. After the first morning, I picked up a few extras at the grocery store (a couple of buns and some large water bottles) to round things out. It also bugged us a little that some items came in odd numbers, for example, one scone or one muffin, which made it hard to share. We would’ve preferred matched pairs so we could both enjoy the same treat. The staff was lovely throughout our stay. They were friendly, attentive, and always kind. They brewed us decaf coffee each morning as we came downstairs and cheerfully provided an extra plate and a real knife when we needed one. Peeling those oranges with the plastic knife would’ve been a hassle. The basket came with only one paper plate, although there were two sets of plastic cutlery. Cleanup afterward was always quick and easy. Final Thoughts We left with gr

We had a wonderful stay with these lovely hosts. Beautifully decorated, with such well thought out attention to details. Great location from which to walk about. Easy parking. Great bar and we had a delicious dinner at Graydon's restaurant. Everyone that worked there was lovely. We will definitely go back again.
