Pur conoscendo bene la zona, non sapevo dell'esistenza di questo locale, in cui siamo stati invitati per un pranzo di lavoro. Sin dall'ingresso si percepisce un'atmosfera accogliente e familiare. I piatti del territorio sono invitanti, ben fatti e ricchi di sapori. C'è attenzione ai dettagli che fanno la differenza: il cestino del pane, ad esempio, ne conteneva diverse tipologie, tutte invitanti. Sotto ogni aspetto è stata una piacevole scoperta e per questo una esperienza ancor più apprezzata.

Posto bellissimo, pulito e caratteristico in cui il sig. Carlo si dimostra disponibilissimo, divertente e simpatico. I cibi li abbiamo trovati ottimi con ingredienti di grande qualità. La cantina è eccezionale per l'assortimento e l'investimento economico che ha fatto la Proprietà, con vini dalla Sicilia al Piemonte e alla Francia, per tutti i gusti e prezzi. Abbiamo preso 2 antipasti d'oca, ottimi ma un po' minimalisti, 2 primi, risotto con porcini, oca affumicata, asparagi e tagliatelle al ragù d'oca, eccezionali. Una bottiglia di Dolcetto favoloso (Bersano), acqua, 2 caffé con biscottini e 1 amaro. Abbiamo speso 103€ totali in 2 persone, a Milano sarebbero prezzi normali, a Gambolò non dovrebbero esserlo e li trovo un po' alti, ma sicuramente è un Ristorante validissimo in una bella e agreste cornice della Lomellina.

Torno in questa trattoria con una certa regolarità a distanza di qualche anno e non ho mai, ma proprio mai avuto brutto sorprese. Anche quest'anno ho potuto apprezzare la cucina, un servizio inappuntabile e la cordialità dell'accoglienza. Tra i piatti provati, la selezione di salumi con gnocco fritto, la burratina erbette e crema di zucca, il risotto con apsaragi, porcini e dadini d'oca, le tagliatelle al ragù d'oca, la sfogliatina alla crema di castagne e la piccola pasticceria. Conto sui 45 euro a persona, vino compreso, per una cena abbondante.

Siamo arrivati per caso in questa locanda in un viaggio itinerante. Mai scelta fu più azzeccata. Proprietari gentilissimi ci hanno accolto e dato la camera in 10 minuti nonostante non avessimo prenotato. Ambiente fantastico, immerso nelle campagne, dove l'unico rumore che si sente è l'acqua che scorre a ridosso della struttura in un ruscello ipnotico. Arredamento ricercato, sobrio e funzionale. Pulizia eccellente (ho visto con i miei occhi la sanificazione dei letti con vapore). Abbiamo scelto di cenare al ristorante in loco ed è stata una buona scelta. Piatti molto ricercati ma veramente ben eseguiti. Cura e dedizione si vedono in ogni angolo. Complimenti davvero.

Sempre bello ristornare in questo ristorante, dove la qualità delle materie prime e la bravura dello chef rimango indiscutibili. Servizio familiare e al contempo professionale. Molto accogliente l’ambiente e il contesto bucolico della campagna Lomellina. Per me il miglior risotto in assoluto.
