Everything was 100% but for the price of €305, and with breakfast not included I found this very expensive.

Friendliest little boutique hotel in Galway! From Sam at the front desk, Rylan and Bernardo in the restaurant and the whole gym/spa crew, Kenny, Shane and Padrig. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed! Rooms, spa, gym and food were great!

The Dean Hotel is a boutique hotel just off Eyre Square in Galway. It's only a 5-7 minute walk from the pubs and shops in downtown Galway. The staff is friendly and accommodating. You have a choice of two restaurants. Elephant and Castle is on the ground floor and from Sophie's on the top floor you can see downtown Galway and the bay. The rooms are cheerful, comfortable and ours had a turntable with a couple of LPs. There were a few more LPs in the lobby. The outdoor pool is heated and was very popular during our stay.

We stayed here on Saturday night for my cousins 40th and it was such a fabulous night. We had dinner in Sophies Restaurant, food was amazing and staff even better, they couldn't do enough for you. Rooms were spotless and loved the mini fridge and treats, nice touch. Breakfast was my favourite part with stunning views over Galway city. High recommend this hotel

We had a nice 1-night stay at The Dean in Galway! As others have mentioned, the rooms are on the smaller side and the king pretty much takes up the whole room. We had a small desk and nice sized bathroom. We were on the ground floor, which I requested. I would note that parking is a bit more than a "throws stone away" and involves rolling suitcases up a rather large hill. I would recommend dropping off/picking up at the front door and then parking your vehicle. All in all, I love the vibe, and we would return.

Fabulous venue and walking distance from Eyre Square. Freindly staff and great service from Taylor. Knew the menu well, and wine recommendations were spot on. Would have no problem telling others to go here. Defo would be back for another time.

The Dean Galway is a quirky upbeat hotel. The room was comfortable and the staff was generally accommodating. My only complaint was that the electric towel warmer in the bath wasn’t working and the bathroom was quite cold. The front desk sent housekeeping to look into it, but when she arrived, she was very abrupt and dismissive and told me that I just had to be patient. By the way, 2 days later it still hadn’t heated up. So much for patience. A more thoughtful approach to customer issues would have gone a long way to make me want to go back.

Gorgeous hotel. Wonderful staff. Gym and outdoor pool, sauna and steam room were amazing. Would highly recommend the Run classes while you stay. Both restaurants in the hotel were lovely and we ate in both of them. A short walk to other lovely pubs and restaurants.

Cool hotel, nice vibe, but the rooms are TINY. A king size bed fills the room to the point that we could only have one suitcase open at a time and even then we had to work around them. We only had carry on bags, I can’t imagine how bad it would be with a large suitcase. No clothes storage at all other that a rack to hang your coats. The bathroom was very nice and the shower huge. The restaurant (Sophies) is very good and not terribly expensive. Didn’t use Elephant and Castle as it just didnt have a great selection of food.
