The room service is good but the hotel is a bit old. There are bars downstair but the noise is acceptable with the window closed.

No!! I paid $580 usd for the room. Which I understand for the area. However, after dinner and drinks, I wanted to come back to room and watch tv. Nope. Nothing. I had so many people in my room. Nope. There was no help. Really? No manager. No supervisor. Poor guys just trying to help.

It's always difficult to tell online when researching hotels if it's a good location, good service, etc. The location is hard to beat as it's right where the action is. The music does seem to go late every night (not just the weekends) so if you have a room facing the front, keep that in consideration if you're a light sleeper. Service was ok, there was a day where our room was missed so we had to inform the front desk. The front desk was very helpful. The room size was quite good for us. I would definitely recommend.

Hats off to your staff Management please give your staff a pay rise. They're the ones who run your hotel...A smile goes a long way...I will book again next time I'm in Galway...Service and food quality was excellent...Rooms were clean...

Hôtel charmant est très bien situé et l’accueil très chaleureux. La chambre est petite . À éviter la chambre 205 juste devant l’ascenseur et la porte d’escalier. La vue sur le toit du resto du dessous et les odeurs de nourriture avec la fenêtre qui ne ferme pas bien.

Not super clean, but passable.The beds are terrible.You are right in Latin Quarter so it is convenient but LOUD.Staff is friendly.

Had a great stay at The Residence Hotel! The location couldn't be better, with great places to wander nearby and great entertainment/live music all around in the evening. Was our first stop on our trip through Ireland and I hope to be back one day!

Outside of the location, which was excellent, several major issues. • TV didn’t work • Air Con didn’t work and didn’t get any sleep • After hours you have to knock to be let in. Usually wouldn’t be an issue but I was left outside at 1 am for close to 10 mins and then my friend experienced the same Would not recommend, find elsewhere to stay

This is a very old hotel right in the heart of Galway. Even though the hotel was very small, with a quaint (but small) elevator, and very small rooms, it had a wonderful feel to it, and was above a great pub with good music. The location was wonderful. And the service was incredibly outstanding! I wouldn't hesitate to return to this hotel.
