The Eyre Square Townhouse

Very noisy after 1pm but that's expected but why have a bright green light on the ceiling like, needed black tape but unfortunately had none so sleepless kinda night

You’ll be hard-pressed to find a better location. And while others have mentioned street noise, we heard nothing. Room 5 is on the second floor and faces the street, but was very, very quiet. The room had a king-sized bed (hard to come by in Europe) and a single bed with a pull-out trundle. The bathroom was spacious and the room was overall very comfortable. That said, this townhouse also fell short. The large clump of hair on the shower wall was a disappointment and when we went to inquire about sheets for the trundle bed, reception was locked up tight. We were able to find some in an accessible cabinet in the shared hallway. Our room also lacked a hair dryer and, again, when we went to ask reception, no one was there. I was not interested in going out in the cool Irish morning with wet hair, but I had no choice. I know this isn’t a hotel and hotel services should not be expected. But basic cleanliness and advertised amenities should be.
