The room is large and the location is good! Go out and walk to the long-distance bus station on the left and the train station on the right. The sound insulation is very poor... There is also the sound of water flowing down.

This hotel is a little dated but it does have charm. The street noise didn’t bother us and we had a good sleep. Easy and efficient check in.

Everything very good about Eyre Hotel. Only one minus. Our room was om the second floor and on the first a Bar. Very noisy

Stayed here last night while at the racing festival. Very central location, spotlessly clean and lovely staff. While the rooms are small and basic everything was fine, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast, again while not an amazing g selection, was absolutely delicious. So I would highly recommend this place for a city break.

Amazing stay in Galway at this gem of a hotel. Location is amazing we had a family room overlooking the back very little noise room kept amazing clean beds comfy all amenities included. Being a lady of a certain age I needed a fan to be able to sleep I popped down to reception to ask and within 10 minutes one was delivered, nothing is too much trouble, the reception staff are so accommodating and lovely in fact every staff member we have met have been pleasant and clearly enjoy working here. The breakfast is superb, very tasty and sets you up for the day, the little coffee shop on front also serves gorgeous cappuccinos. All this and literally less than a minute to eyre square it really is perfect, next trip to Galway to see family we will definitely be booking this little gem

The breakfast buffet was pleasant and aligned with expectations for the price point. My room (94) during a two-night stay in July 2025 faced what could be described as a courtyard, though its condition unfortunately resembled more of a neglected service area. A bright exterior light remained on throughout the night directly in front of the window, and there was persistent noise from outdoor ventilation—likely due to the lack of air conditioning and the need to keep the window open. These factors made it difficult to get a restful night’s sleep and feel fully recharged the next day.
