Best Western Plus Galveston Suites

All of the rooms have balconies that face the ocean so you get remarkable sunrise views right from your room. The hotel is overall nice and has a good breakfast. The location is great being just west of the main area. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel is very reasonably priced considering an ocean front room with balcony and a very spacious room that has both king bed and sleeper sofa. The hotel also has a refrigerator and microwave and a very nice complimentary breakfast. We would stay here again.

Great location right on the water front. Easy to,get to the shops and restaurants. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the breakfast. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean.we stayed for one night, and enjoyed a late evening swim in the outside pool, which was lovely after a long day travelling.

The hotel was very clean. The staff was very nice. Housekeeping gave us fresh towels everyday without having to ask. The best part was seeing dolphins from our balcony two mornings out of the three we stay there! All the rooms have a balcony that faced the ocean. Will stay there again.

We were taking a cruise out of Galveston and had points saved up, so we booked a stay at this hotel. We could not have been happier! The hotel is not far from the port and we were right on the seawall with a balcony overlooking the gulf. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was wonderful. We look forward to staying here again!

The power consistently went out in my room. Was told there would be an adjustment on my bill at checkout but there was no adjustment. Lobby area smelled like gas. Breakfast was subpar and there are bugs.

Great stay. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Clean, property seemed well kept and the room was HUGE!! Pool was clean and refreshing for night swimming after a beach day. I really like the location. It's maybe between the busier attractions on the beach so the cross traffic was manageable. The beach across the street had plenty of places available to set up. Nice view from the 3rd floor balcony.

I wanted to award this hotel with 4 stars but sadly there are some negatives. Once again no room safe and breakfast finishes at 09:00 weekdays. If, as in our case you arrive late evening after a very long drive, then an 09:30 breakfast would be nice, it is after all the international standard, so is a room safe for international travellers. The rooms are large, but too dark and a little dated. Nice front desk staff. The balcony is fine, the hot air from the aircon compressor is unwelcome so you have to turn the room aircon off, plus a little balcony table would be nice. A small word of caution. We were initially given a ground floor room. This is very dark with a balcony that is looking onto the car park. You would need to stand on a chair to see the sea! We asked very nicely, even offering to pay for a upper floor. The manager intervened and gave us a third floor room, thank you. I would politely suggest the ground floor rooms are sold as such with either a proviso or discounted as the hotel states all room have a sea view.
