Comfort Suites

A very nice place to stay. The front desk people are friendly, helpful on ideas what to see or do. Clean rooms, breakfast was good, nice selection. The hotel is walking distance to Jimmy’s on the Pier, the beach. They are doing some maintenance, but did not interfere with our stay. We will stay here again .

I haven’t even stepped foot in this hotel yet, and I’m already regretting my decision to book here. I knew I would need airport shuttle service upon arrival on July 11, so I called four weeks in advance to make sure everything was lined up. I was told to call back two weeks before, which I did, and at that point, my shuttle reservation was confirmed. Not long after that, I got a call saying they forgot to collect my flight information, something that should’ve been handled during the original call. I followed up again and gave them all the details they needed. Then today, July 10, I received a call in the morning confirming my flight info and that everything was good to go for my 8:30 AM shuttle tomorrow. Just a few hours later, I was contacted again and told that because they didn’t have a valid credit card on file, my shuttle was being bumped to noon, and I had no other option but to accept the later time or cancel the reservation altogether. This was unacceptable. I fly out tonight at 11:55 PM and land at 8:30 AM, so I had planned everything around that original pickup time. The employee I spoke with, Angela, was rude, argumentative, and kept interrupting me as I tried to express my frustration. She refused to give her last name and denied my request to speak with the manager, Dee Singh. I called Comfort Inn corporate, and to their credit, the representative was very kind and helpful, and here’s the kicker: they confirmed that I DID have a valid credit card on file for the reservation. We even verified the last four digits together, and everything checked out. So I honestly don’t know what kind of disorganization is going on at this specific location, but it’s extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I also reported this experience to AAA, since this hotel is one of their affiliates. I’m hoping this situation is made right and that I can update this review with a positive resolution, but based on today’s experience alone, I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone until they get their customer service and internal communication under control.

Rough neighborhood.

I choose this hotel because of location. It was clean and close to the beach. I drove to eat not far. I did have 2 complaint the door didnt lock smoothly and the breakfast bar was not open at 5:30am. I would go back cause of the staff. They are really nice.

Run down. Needs updating. Its close to beach.
