It's a very nice cozy place to stay and very quiet. The owners are in the process of upgrading and updating everything so I will be looking forward to coming back when they finish everything even though right now it's very nice.

Terrible experience house collapsed
Terrible experience the ceiling of the first floor literally collapsed and I had to cancel my event. Vrbo is not responding as they promised.

Beach
First day the house was a mess.Pieces of sheet rock and insulation was all over the floor and under the bed. I called the property management and it was quickly cleaned up.Sheet rock and insulation was stacked at the end of the driveway and wind blown through out the front yard, all three days. Not a good trip.

great for my family!
My family and I came down for the week and stayed here, it’s pretty close to everything and really quiet neighborhood. I loved the porch and swing and the bedrooms were nice. Only thing you should look out for is when it storms, sometimes the door leaks, but other than that it wasn’t a huge issue and I loved everything else about it.

Great trip to the beach
Our first family vacation! A great time was had by all. The beds were so comfortable and the house was spacious and well equipped. Definitely looking forward to doing this again!

Bachelorette weekend
This house was an okay house. When we got there, we found no rules or information on the property as most Vrbo houses have. We were unsure of the exiting process to leave the home.
We had no idea where things were and had a very difficult time locating within the house. Towels were not in an ideal location.
While looking for the towels we came across someone’s dirty underwear under the bathroom counter.
We also found a dirty swimsuit in the dryer.
When trying to take out the trash, no bags were left for us and the big trash cans outside were 90% of the way full.
We constantly kept finding small bugs on the counter and floors by the beds.
There were also dirty plates tucked under our bed from the last guest.
We paid for a cleaning service ahead of time and I’m not sure that it was done properly.
The lighting outside was very poor, and only on one side of the house. I was going up the stairs late at night and could not see and an opossum was sitting on the porch waiting for me.
We also had no stairs on the inside to connect the down stairs room to the rest of the house. So we had friends who were separated from the rest of the group.
Uber does not come out that far. So if your goal is to be in Galveston and on the strand and such I would suggest something different.
The beds were comfortable and showers were fine. I give this a 3 out of 5 stars. Would not stay again for a bachelorette weekend. You are also a drive from the beach.
