When I arrived at 4 pm there was no one in the office. I rang the bell that is outside and still after 15 minutes and several rings I'd given up. Now what do I do? As I was preparing to leave a nice gentleman that was staying there told me to try the corner room. I did. When the door opened there was jewelry making being done. Someone in the room said that someone would be right out. I waited about 10 minutes and a Navajo Woman came out. She explained to me that the Owner, an Indi woman was not there that day and she was covering for her. I checked in and got my room. Next there was no chair in front of the computer desk. No chairs at all in the room. Only a bed and a desk with TV above it. room overall was old but clean. I again had to return to the "corner room" to get assistance as front desk did not reply. The woman again when told of no chair had me take one out of another room. Then no problem until I was ready to retire for the night. The sheets were terrible condition. I could not tell if they were not washed or if they were just real old, yellowish and stained terribly. I slept on them any way. The next day when I took off the old stained and yellowish bottom sheet I found the mattress cover to be filthy and terrible stains on it. It was a zip on so doubt if it has ever been cleaned. There were a couple hairs, fuzz, and dust dirt on top of it that the bottom sheet had been covering. Over all it was quiet, the heater worked, slow drainage on the bath sink. The WiFi definately did not work. Three times I checked with the relief woman and also another gentleman who seemed to be with her, and both told me the password to get on. The man told me to make sure that I capitalized the first letter and then lower case letters for the rest and no spaces. NOPE! Never did work. So do not plan on WiFi and make sure you check the sheets are clean before you book this room. Of course I realize you get what you pay for. I see now why the parking lot had only a total of 5 vehicles not including the Mgr's vehicle in it for the entire time I was there Afternoon, night, and morning.

I have no complaints. Every time I stay here I am treated politely, my room is clean, and it is quiet enough that I can get work done.

The gentleman who checked me in was great, understanding and capable. The room was clean, and the rate was great.

Booked the Colonial Motel based on recent reviews that it was ok. It was very inexpensive, so my expectations were low. Clean would have met expectations When checking in. I was told my room was next door at the Ranchito Motel they owned. Don't know why, but based on the Ranchito I doubt the Colonial could have been much better. Room key card didn't work so owner replaced batteries in the door and then still had to get a new card. TV remote only turned TV off and on. Housekeeper showed me how to change channels on a box on the side of the TV and that was that. Floor and most flat surfaces were dirty. Original towels were disgusting, some type of faded orange stains. I don't want to guess what that color started out as. Housekeeper must have known the condition and brought replacements without being asked. Big dogs that were kept on the property barked some during the night, but I was very tired and it didn't bother me much. I wish I had slept in my car instead of this place.

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. When I entered the room, it was very nice and clean. It seemed as if they remodeled not too long ago. Just stayed for one night as I was just passing by. Will come back again if I’m in the area!

I've stayed in a lot of motels, but what I experienced here is beyond the scope. The person in the office: a paragon of insolence. not even a modicum of good manners. When I pointed out misunderstandings in their price offer, the answer from this unspeakable person was just a F..y...
