The hotel has character but it is very basic. Breakfast is not available. There is no restaurant. The wifi mostly did not work. There was a complex device for showers that did not work properly and flooded the bathroom. The towels had seen better days. There was no TV. The room was not serviced in the three days I stayed in Galle. On the positive side, the location on Church St was excellent, the AC and fan both worked, there was a small fridge, and there was a pleasant balcony with chairs. The cost was about the same as the Ramada in Colombo, but there was no comparison in terms of comfort or amenities. I had completely the wrong impression of this very small hotel from the ******* description.

They charge you saying that AC room but AC not working, room is too hot and staff is very unfriendly, not worth the money. I said the ac is not working they suggested me to on the fan (as if I have never seen a fan ) and they wanted me to open the balcony door to get more air. I did not sleep the whole night as it was too hot. Not recommend And I don’t think owner care about bad reviews.

I have always stayed in Rasika and Roshan’s guest houses so this time it was no different. Lovely stay. No frills. Big room including an attic which our 3 yr old loved as it included stuffed toys. Typical Galle stay with simple touches. Good location. Good service.
