Wil je in 'fort' zitten, dan kan de locatie bijna niet beter. Rustiger zijstraatje van één van de hoofdstraten. Leuk en redelijk pitoresk hotel. Binnenplaats wat nauw, maar toch ook weer redelijk knus. Balkonkamer aan de voorkant is leuk! Schoonmaken kan wat beter. Restaurantje direct links aan de overkant was helemaal niet onaardig.

Dommage …. Nous avions réservé sur la base des photos de cette chambre d’hôte Mais …. Quand nous sommes arrivés, la propriétaire nous explique que nous serons logés dans une annexe. Cette annexe se situe dans la rue la plus bruyante de Galle La chambre mériterait d’être refaite complètement. L’hygiène est limite S’agissant de l’eau chaude, il y a assez pour une personne. Bref, nous avons écourté notre séjour, obtenu le remboursement de la dernière nuit. Lieu que je ne recommande vraiment pas !

Needs improvement
It’s odd that the main concern here is asking travellers to pay for their stay the moment they arrive/walk back in to the property/constantly. Payment on check-put is the norm and it’s strange to continually stay in places like this in Sri Lanka where they’re just obsessed with money. We’re all going to pay you for our stays - that’s normal. Please just let us be here and enjoy and pay on departure - which is standard.

I spent a long weekend here and had a very good time. The hotel is quiet and comfortable and the complimentary breakfast ample and delicious. I have to praise the staff in particular. Extremely friendly and helpful. I had a number of problems -- lost my phone charger, for example -- and the main clerk Usman went above and beyond to help me.

This is a lovely small boutique style guest house up a quiet side street. We had the front facing balcony room which was very pleasant. The bed and room were very comfortable. Good a/c and fan, however the WiFi was very weak in the room. Outside our room was a very comfortable and well presented seating area, to relax. They offer free filtered water which was appreciated. Breakfast is at 8:30 (Although they did accomodate us leaving early on our last morning). Breakfast was nice. There are a few maintenance issues that need addressing, however in a strange way, they seem to add charm rather than be a problem..... the staff were all friendly and efficient. There is a lovely authentic restaurant just outside the front door, which is highly regarded in reviews. A tuk tuk from the train station is only LKR 400. We enjoyed it so much that we booked an extra night.
