The photos of this property LOOK okay but in real life, this place is sort of falling apart. You can’t swim in the beach as the water is too dangerous and choppy. The room we stayed in did not have a balcony door that sealed properly, so we had to switch rooms. The eating/ lounge area was very bare bones. For me, the stay would have been all right, had they not used photos likely from when this hotel first opened, when it was in tip top condition. We had a hot tub that we didn’t even feel like using, being the sealant looked cracked and gross and it just didn’t appear as clean as it did in the photos the hotel has shared with *******. We would never ever stay here again.

Lovely resort. On the Beach .... the room had the sea view. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The restaurant staff were very courteous and helpful. The restaurant also overlooks the sea. A nice small swimming pool. The beach is a private beach with calm shores.

A perfect end to our visit to Sri Lanka. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, balcony area facing the sea, mini bar and jacuzzi in the bathroom. The food is amazing, the portion size is very generous and the quality is stunning. Great location too with a private beach, kept spotlessly clean. But what makes this hotel stand out is the staff, from the cleaners to the restaurant staff, they are all so attentive and can’t do enough for you, really lovely people. Oh, and winning the tug of war for the new year celebrations was also a bonus!!

L’hôtel est parfaitement situé, très confortable, à taille humaine avec un service de très grande qualité. On peut y aller les yeux fermés. La plage est accessible depuis l’hôtel et on peut facilement surfer ou faire du bodyboard. Le restaurant est également excellent!

Super fijn hotel met een fantastische keuken. Wij verbleven aan het einde van onze vakantie in hotel CoCoBay. Wat een heerlijk hotel met ruime schone kamers, Uitzicht op zee en fantastisch personeel. Het eten in het restaurant van het hotel was heerlijk, En de bediening behulpzaam en belangstellend. Vooral genoten van de adviezen en de tips van de ober Rag. CocoBay is a lovely owner-managed small hotel with a delightful personal touch. It is set in a gorgeous tree lined Bay with calm seas and a great view of the Dutch fort at Gaulle. The staff are fantastic and cannot do enough for you; and a particular highlight is the delicious food (a Sri Lankan/Indian/European menu) all of which has been nothing short of perfection. A shady pool, large rooms with extremely comfortable beds and fantastic cleaning and laundry services makes this an extremely relaxing stay for those with young families. Plaudits go to the extremely friendly staff who have a great work ethic and really care about the guests – and who make this place worthy of its high rating.
