We loved the building's architecture and sympathetic renovation with historic features. The rooms looked beautiful and were very comfortable. The breakfasts were varied, and we had a la carte service. We didn't stay for dinner. Service was good once you found someone to help they were kind and hospitable. The location was perfect for exploring. History is a good room. Prefects is next to yhe pool which not appeal to some, but it has a freestanding bath.
The pool is great for lengths.
Our request for 2 single beds could not be achieved without adding a extra bed to a double room.

Very bad attitude! The water and electricity were cut off for two hours, and no one dealt with it. I complained to Ctrip, but they replied that it was a power outage in the entire area. How did other guests stay there? Not sincere at all! In addition, there were three rooms that were not in the hotel, but 200 meters away from the hotel. There was no mention or reminder on the booking interface. Ctrip was also at fault. Who would stay in a place 200 meters away with no service? This is a hotel, not Airbnb.

Staying at Fort Printers was a really nice experience. The property is well-designed and spacious. It was my first time staying in a historical building, and it didn’t feel odd or scary at all. The location was perfect for getting around, though if you're staying in the fort, it’s not like there’s a huge area to explore anyway. Highly recommended for anyone who's into design hotels.

It's in a great location in the city, with easy access to the lighthouse, mosque, and beach.
The furniture and artwork were very tasteful.
Apparently the Pakistani owner selected them. The flower arrangements were lovely too.
There was a Bruegel catalogue in the lounge.
The linen uniforms worn by the hotel staff matched the hotel.
The pool isn't large, but the colour contrast with the old yellow walls around it was lovely.
I had a continental breakfast, which was healthy, stylish and delicious.
I stayed in a suite, but there was a claw-foot bathtub. However, the window looked out onto the street, so it couldn't be opened, and it was a bit dark, which was disappointing.

The location is very convenient. The Internet celebrity store is next door and there is a bar opposite the door. It is very comfortable to take the children to sit for a while at night. We stayed three nights at Fort Printers. The hotel is very centrally located within the fort precinct, and easy walking distance to all of the many shops and restaurants within the fort. as well as a short walk to the fort ramparts. After checking in we were given a brief history of the property which was originally a school and then a printers. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The quality of the food was very good. The only negative, if there is one, is that the internet was very hit and miss and often took several minutes to download content from the web even when it was available. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would have no hesitation in recommending it.

We simply loved our two days here. We stayed in a wonderful room which was really large. So charming with good, wooden floors and beems that looked really authentic. There was an area with nice chairs and a sofa. The beds were comfortable, and the AC and WIFI worked perfectly. There was real tea (that is no tea bags) both black, mint and Green to choose from. There was this big ante room with wash basis and a huge mirror where we also kept our luggage. The shower had wonderful pressure and the water was steaming hot (if you wanted). The breakfast was served at the table. There were quite a few choices - but it did take some time so you better not be on an hurry when coming to eat. Wonderful location in the midle of the old town with a lot of restaurants and bars just around the corner

This was our first hotel on our first visit to Sri Lanka and we really had no complaints at all. It’s perfectly placed for a stay in Galle. Right in the centre so you walk out the door and you are in the fort area. We loved this. Great staff. They were very warm and welcoming. We chatted with many of them and they were very helpful. Our room was great. Air con was prefect as it was very hot and humid outside. The room was huge and we bathroom was well set out and loved the shower. We bought the cinnamon leaf oil. Smells great and it was good on any bites. We only ate breakfast at hotel. Enjoyed this a lot - both western and SL breakfasts. Calm place to stay to enjoy the wonderful Galle.
