Baymont by Wyndham Gallatin

Room was very clean. The breakfast was unacceptable. They offered sliced white bread to toast. A waffle maker. And 4 small yogurts available in the fridge. Coffee and juice. No muffin...no bagels...no donuts or pastries or fresh fruit. We didn't expect eggs and all that goess with them. But what they offered was extremely pitiful. 😕😞😬

What should have been a nice four days relaxing in Tennessee Tennessee in the middle of August was not. We arrived to a hotel when we find out the pool has not been operable for months. We had to ask four different people for an answer. all four people gave different reasons as to why the pool is not working. Bottom line the owner or manager told us Priceline fault and the Priceline would not allow them to change their website to state that their pool has been down although they show a beautiful picture of their pool and deck and chairs. No refund was offered or given not even an apology. This place is a joke In regards to customer service. They just wanted to place the blame on Priceline and be done with it. Will not be going back.

Worst breakfast available, rooms are desperate for a serious cleaning. Too many negatives to list, find another motel.

Lacks a lot compared to other Wyndham locations. They certainly should not advertise breakfast included. It was very very poor....Check in was a little challenging even though I had reservations for a month.

Incredibly disgusting place. Bloodstains on the bathtub, sagging bed and musty smell. Wife wouldn't even sit on the chair. Walked in and u-turned out. Worst hotel I've ever ever seen, and I was a 1st responder in Los Angeles. Stay far away from this dump. What was I thinking?

No roll-in shower on property. I also had a service dog and the so called handicapped room wasn’t dog friendly. I had to tell them that it’s a medical service dog and they still seemed to have issues

If I could give this hotel a zero I would. The front desk male is very rude and not polite at all. He has no bedside manner at all. I did lie and say I only had one pet, but was found out to have more than one and he said we had to pay extra which we did. He demanded that housekeeping clean our room even though I was cleaning it and getting fresh linen and sheets. Or we would be kicked out. When we did he didn't like that we removed the animals out of the room so they could clean and told is to leave after paying the extra 140 dollars for the extra pet. We got no refund we paid for a week and a week for the additional pet and no refund. He screamed at me and my husband to get out or he would call the cops. We got everything out called the corporate office and called the cops ourselves. They did nothing. He then proceeded to call other hotels in the area and tell them not to let us get a room because our animals destroyed the room which was not true at ALL!!! He lied. I was cleaning the room and found brown crusty stuff all over the bathroom sink and and under the counter that overlaps the sink, it was gross. Our first night I swept and found tumble weeds of dog or cat hair under the nightstands. The air conditioner leaked water all over the floor when it was on. Never ever will be going to any Wydham hotel again. Especially Baymont Inn and Suites in Gallatin, TN.

The room was clean enough and fine. The front desk person, David, is not a people person. We arrived and there was a printed note on the window that said "Back in 10 minutes". No time was given so I had no idea how long it had been put there. I waited a couple minutes and thought maybe he was in the back room now and forgot to pull the sign. I called the number and before it rang three times he walked in and I indicated it was me calling. David said, "I just left two minutes ago, the sign says 10minutes!" I didn't argue with him or tell him I'd been in the lobby for more than 2 minutes. Nor did I explain he hadn't listed the time, probably so he could get a longer break on purpose. The fact that he walked in by the third ring meant he was nearby after all, probably taking a break for who knows how long. Later I called and asked for the WIFI password because they didn't have it noted in the room or on the key packet cover like many places do. I didn't hear him right the first time. I called back and he started off, "It's like I explained to you"..." I cut him off and said I'd take my loss of hearing up with my doctor, and that I was sorry to bother him, and he hung up after I got the user ID out of him. So front desk David was a fail. They had a group of construction road workers, or at least guys all dressed in high visibility clothing. Our neighbor chose to loudly whistle while getting ready for work at 4:30am. Yes, whistling. First time for me. Drunks, dogs, just about anything has woken me up. But an ***** whistling happy tunes at 4:30am is a first. Not a lot management can do about ignorant people. If it weren't for the front desk anti social person in a social job setting, and a neighbor with zero common sense I would have given it 3-4 stars. Breakfast was some eggs and the regular cold stuff. Not as much as they bragged it up, but we chose a local diner anyway as we like to explore restaurants in new areas.
