We reserved a block of rooms for a local event. One lady was the only one able to make a reservation for the group. Ppl had to call several times. Most gave up & booked elsewhere. Through the process they swapped mine & my husband’s priority club accounts. Checking in was a nightmare! They just pick a room apparently (maybe from the block). I had three rooms booked for multiple days. One room they tried to kick us out of after the first night, said it was only for night! Nope & they charged us for 3. Now I’m trying to get my rewards for 1 of the 3 rooms, they say was canceled. When I call them they hang up on me. Corporate calls them & they say it’s was canceled. They changed my card! Unprofessional is an understatement! They are giving Holiday Inn Express a bad reputation!

The room has had water damage at some point and they cosmetically fixed it. There was a soft place in the floor right by the bed that has to be avoided. Room smelled musty & moldy. IHG is a slacking.

Great nights sleep. Room very clean and comfortable. Staff accommodating and friendly. Did not have any problems. Breakfast ok. The area does have a lot of road construction going on and Hotel a little difficult to get to but worth the trouble.

I checked in about 5:30 PM on 8/29/22. I did not have a reservation. The desk clerk was a young black haired white girl (did not get her name). She was pleasant enough at first, however when I pulled out my IHG Rewards member ID card she would not even look at it as she told me there was nothing she could do with it in the check in computer system. I told her I want to make sure I would get credit for points for my stay. She told me I could only get the points if I made a reservation on line. She told me it would connect automatically to my phone number which she never bothered to ask me for. My phone number is in fact connected to my on line IHG profile. At that point I was a bit frustrated and told her I might as well cut up my card and not stay at any Holiday Inns anymore. She then called me rude. I was simply stating a fact. If anyone was rude it was her. At that point our conversation ended, she gave me my key card and I went up to my room. I have been staying at hotels throughout the world for over 35 years. I don't expect to be treated that way when I check in to a hotel.

Had a reservation for one night. I had called to tell them we would be a late check in and that we would not need the suit we had booked online because there were only two of us instead of 3 like I had booked. My sister and I arrived about 8:20 in the evening. We told the young girl checking us in a double bed would be ok. She said no this is the only room I have left and gave us the suit I booked. Ok, so we got settled in and decided to drive out to the ****** for dinner. We got back to the hotel about 11 p.m. The girl and her boyfriend were sitting over in the breakfast area and we said hello and went up to our room. We got in the bed about 12 and were visiting like sisters do and my sister said I hear something. I said I don’t, and about that time we hear our door which was locked and the safety lock at the top of the door was latched started to slam, and slam and clearly someone was trying to force our door open! It scared us really bad. We both ran to living area hoping no one was standing there about to rob us! The door was closed and I looked out the peephole and saw a man going down the hall in a plaid shirt. My sister bragged the phone to call down for security and our phone did not work! Meanwhile she was trying that I felt the latch was almost all the way out and the lock was unlocked! I ran and grabbed my cell phone and called the number which I had called to tell them we were going to be late. The girl answered. I told her what had happed and she said oh that was me! What?!?! It is 12:30 at night! What are you doing trying to get in our room? She was rambling and at this point we are very shaken, and ready to get out of there. I was going to call the police but decided just to get out asap. We gather our things and went down to talk to the girl and low and behold she was gone! Another man was standing there. We told him what had happened, and he clearly knew what had took place. I demanded our money back. He said yes we will give you a refund and I will report it to the manager tomorrow. I called the police and reported it, and called back later in the morning. Another older lady answers and I ask to speak to the manager. She finally says they are on vacation. I told her that someone had tried to break into our room, and she said “oh that was me” What ?!? The other younger girl told me it was her! Who was it??? she didn’t even ask me my name and stared saying I will give you a refund. Something shady is going on at this place! My sister and I really feel like someone was trying to enter our room to rob or harm us. You do not enter a room with that kind of force nor enter at 12:30 at night! Everyone is covering up for one another. I would not recommend this place if it was the last one standing in this town. Corporate has been contacted and gave a report, police have been called and reported. Someone better cough up my money. They have not refunded it yet.

I usually stay at the IHG in Ardmore but wanted to be a little closer to ******. Diving up I started to cancel just looking at the outer appearance. The clerk was friendly so we decided to stay. I wanted to book using my point so she told me to make another reservation using my point and she would honor that and cancel the other. I was told I could bring it in the morning to show the front desk. The front desk clerk, black hair caucasian said she didn’t know anything about this the next morning.Told me manager would return that night. That evening I checked again she told me she texted manager. I showed her the IHG app with a lower price of $89. She told me she didn’t know how to do that to change rate. The next morning she lied and said the manager called me. I tried to show her I had no calls she wouldn’t look at the lower price all she could do is smile and say I don’t know how to do why is she there. When I looked at my bill I had 2 different prices than was quoted when I booked I was told by customer service they give the average price when booking. What? The hotel is very shabby, cold breakfast I will never stay there again
