At the time of writing this review, I’m still at the hotel (11/1–11/7), this is my second time in Abkhazia - the impressions from the two trips are completely different. Amran is a small, cozy hotel with a heated swimming pool, playground, children's club and parking. The hotel has everything a traveler needs - in the room: hygiene items, hairdryer, tea station, refrigerator, clothes dryer, basin, umbrella, corkscrew and dishes; on the floor: cooler with hot and cold water, iron and ironing board. At the end of the season, only buffet breakfast can be included in the tariff. The breakfasts are delicious, they try to change the assortment every day - omelettes, eggs, cereals, pancakes, cold cuts, fruits and vegetables, juice, coffee-tea, champagne (😏). The hotel is impeccably clean, cleaning every day, linen and towels changed every 3 days. Beach towels are provided. Very polite and friendly staff - administrators at the reception will always help and tell you everything, maids, cooks and waiters and technical staff 🫶🏻 About additional services at the hotel: there is a transfer from/to the airport for November 3500 for a 4-seater car. You can book an excursion at the reception; in hotels they are usually more expensive, but here the cost is the same as everywhere else in the city, you don’t have to go far) On the minus first floor there is an excellent spa center. We took the complex: cedar barrel, peeling, massage. The master, Lauren, is a professional in his field, the stress went away immediately) 10 out of 10 About the location of the hotel - it is located in old Gagra, it is convenient to walk to the new Gagra, and to the historical part with the colonnade, Gagripsh, etc. There is a lot of vegetation around, it smells of eucalyptus and cypress trees (there is no such aroma in new Gagra). About the end of the season in Abkhazia - 90% of cafes and shops are closed. Next to the hotel there is a pleasant cafe "Calypso" with a view of the sea, large portions and delicious homemade wine. Near the hotel there are small grocery stores, pharmacies, shops with souvenirs, fruits, adjika, etc. On the street Abazgaa, next to the Orchid Hotel, there is a two-story Minimarket, in this store you can find everything. If I’m still in Abkhazia, I’ll only go to Amran 💙
