The Queens Hotel

Once again we have had a lovely stay here. The staff are very Friendly. The food is excellent . We ate in the restaurant Saturday evening and had breakfast on Sunday. You can’t fault the food

Such a lovely place, always. Mischief the Cocker Spaniel loves it and is always welcomed. Feel bad as need to shout out all the lovely people who have looked after us over the years, but on this occasion thanks from Mischief to the lovely Grace for her kindness to him.

A lovely stay. Good beer, good food, lovely hosts. So close to the train station, since I was travelling around using public forms of transport.

Spent one night here at this very popular venue/pub/hotel. Great atmosphere, nice room, but what knocked the spots off anything else was the superb vegan breakfast, which unusually included scrambled tofu and black pudding (had to double check it was vegan!). Fantastic, and a great service from the friendly staff... in particular, Mo! Thank you very much for a very enjoyable stay. We will be back for a longer stay very soon.

Everything about this establishment was top notch. Great room. Great choice at the bar. The best playlist I’ve heard in public this year which includes music from this century. Good parking. Next to railway station and bus stop. Nice walk to the beautiful beach. Expected to see more of the hosts but they were friendly as were the staff behind the bar. Liam did offer to help take the bags to our room - up some windy stairs but we managed. We booked a deluxe room - not sure why it was classed as deluxe just looked like a standard room. Good tea tray and snacks. Room was hot even with 4 windows open and should have a fan as standard. No visible plugs - extension lead under the bed, not able to get ready near the mirror which was right inside the door as no plug socket near it. Tv was wonky ( just a small thing but an easy fix ) . Only briefly saw the hosts at breakfast , good choice of cereal, yoghurts and fruit , the ‘Welsh’ breakfasts were freshly cooked to order and were very nice ( not sure what made it a Welsh breakfast) Not many places to eat in the evening even in the centre of town, we had food at the Queens which was nice. Got turned away from the pizza house as they were ‘ too busy to serve us !’ We did enjoy our stay but could be improved with a few minor improvements.
