Had a wonderful few hours here. They do a bottomless brunch which was wonderful. The service was fabulous and we were really looked after. Menu wasn't huge but a good choice and very good portions. Cocktails lovely too. Would definitely recommend.

We took advantage of the current special offer and stayed overnight although it’s not far from home. We had a lovely time in Lytham with nice walks along the prom. The hotel sits on the promenade with extensive views across the bay towards Southport. We had a sea front room and luckily had wonderful sunsets across the sea. The hotel underwent an extensive refurbishment a few years ago, so is well maintained and offers a comfortable and modern lounge, bar and restaurant all with sea views. The room we had was well appointed, clean and comfortable. We had a meal in the evening, which exceeded our expectations. The dinner as well presented and delicious and the included bottle of wine was enjoyable. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The is also a lovely veranda on the front which would be lovely in summer, but we obviously didn’t use it at this time of year. Only downside is the car park which is not very big. Overall we enjoyed everything and will definitely return.

My husband and I made a last minute decision to go to Lytham and we booked this hotel on the day. We were greeted with a lovely warm welcome at reception. Our room was a standard double. It was lovely and clean and pleasantly decorated.with ample storage, a good selection of hot drinks and bottle water. Lynsey (house keeping) was so lovely. She was very helpful too, told us if we needed anything just let her know. We were at the back of the hotel, the room was only small but it was adequate for us both. The only criticism I could make was the bathroom could probably do with a light near the mirror. The location is great for all the amenities, plenty of parking too in a barrier carpark. The lounge/bar area is very relaxing and was very welcoming when we returned from our long walk. We ate dinner there and it was delicious, breakfast was equally delicious too. I can highly recommend the sourdough, avocado and poached egg. Probably the best I have ever eaten. All the staff were really friendly and made you feel very welcome. Jill on reception was great, felt like we left the hotel like old friends. She explained that the hotel was being refurbished so don’t let other reviews put you off. We loved it and will definitely be returning.

We went for a night stay for our anniversary from Friday till Saturday from parking the car to booking in with great ease. Our room was excellent very peaceful and clean the bar service was excellent and Rowan the barman was simply splendid he was friendly courteous and obliging and he can make great cocktails like the fantastic Zombie with the flame and a wicked Bloody Mary but just wish the celery was in the glass to make it the business thoroughly fantastic stay professional staff and will be back again later on this year.

Excellent customer service! After a mix up with our reservation, which was entirely our fault, the reception staff did everything to help us and reorganised our reservation! We have stayed here often and have never been disappointed, it is a beautiful hotel with amazing staff. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Great value & location
Lovely hotel overall but our room wasn’t great. We usually stay in the Grand at St Annes but the clfton offered better value and location.
