Very nice location and old style building overlooking a nice lake and park. It was a decent hotel overall. The staff were great and very pleasant. A little tired on the inside. Food and drink were pretty good too, even though the food came out surprisingly quick.

We stay here on a regular basis as the prices here are generally quite good. The staff were very good. being receptive and helpful. The rooms whilst clean and having most mod cons seem to be a tad smaller than other premier inns we have stayed at . Black out curtains and a comfy bed help a good sleep. The breakfast were nicely cooked and presented too

My friend and I chose to stay at this Premier Inn as it was close to Bletchley Park. However, we were a bit concerned by some of the reviews. All I can say is that the staff were very friendly and the rooms were spotlessly clean and warm. The Hungry Horse Pub next door was handy. You could even access it from inside the hotel. The meals were reasonably priced, too. Furzon Lake is a lovely setting, and although it was a cold, windy, January day, it was lovely to be able to walk down to the lake and see the waterfowl before heading off. All I can is that I can highly recommend this Premier Inn, and we'll be back.

After reading some recent reviews for this hotel, I was seriously thinking about cancelling. However, we did not and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, the rooms could do with a lick of paint to freshen them up but, on the whole, our room (234) was clean and tidy and had everything you needed - and lets face it, you only need somewhere to sleep!!

This Premier Inn is located on the lovely Furzton lake, a lovely walk around with plenty of birds on the lake. Can't tell you how many red kites we saw here, fab. There isn't much around this area and a car is needed to get into Milton Keynes itself, however, it suited us here as we were visiting family who live on the other side of the lake. The hotel as ever was clean, tidy with all that we needed in our room. Lovely and quiet so sleeping was easy. We paid for breakfast and weren't disappointed, buffet hot breakfast, cereals, juices, croissants, crumpets, toast, buns plenty of tea and coffee, toast everything. If refills and seconds were required it was a case of helping yourself, lovely. All staff at this Premier Inn were friendly, approachable, helpful and informative, from reception stsaff, to catering staff to maintenance man and housekeeping services. All had a smile and were willing to engage in conversation, nothing was to much trouble. We had a problem with the heating, when we returned to our room there was a heater in there as the heating couldn't at that time be fixed, it was toasty. We would recommend a stay here as it suits our needs, though you are a ways from town.

Adequate for a quick stopover. Lack of restaurant means you need to dine out. Although breakfast is served and is ok. Car park quite dim on a cold January evening. No lift but its a low-rise building unless you have any impediment then a problem. Price could be shaved but lots of contract workers with their vans to keep the place popular.

The rooms are now in dire need of renovation. No ventilation, so rooms are smelly, stuffy, and damp. Black-mold growing in multiple locations in the room. Bathroom is needlessly tiny, especially when the room is quite spacious. Breakfast was not good. The coffee machine was broken and appeared to have been for some time; the pastries ran out by 08:30; cereals ran out by 09:00; no serviettes so using blue-roll instead; no desire to provide a service from the FoH restaurant staff. The attached Hungry Horse pub was very poor. Bar staff were difficult, not customer focussed, and weren't interested in providing a service. Booking for 18 people was at first rejected citing that there was no room because they were fully booked. Questioning this, the pub manager eventually said "well you'll have to book online". Why insist the customer books online when they are stood in front of the pub manager, asking to make a booking? This Premier Inn's only saving grace is that it is cheap, but it is easy to see why.

Soon as we opened the door for the first time we were hit with a musty smell like opening a old caravan after exploring the room once coats off we found mould around the window and over the ceiling in the bathroom, Disappointing as it's such an easy thing to sort out but the cleaners aren't bothered as even the mirrors were a mess, the extra pillows and none of the extra bedding(quad room) had tamper proof seals or covers. Overall not a great experience never greeted by staff when passing reception even when we first arrived to check in had to wait around for someone to come after ringing the bell and a lad not even in uniform finally came.
