As a 4-star hotel, I am very disappointed that the hotel has no system and the system is messy. It was almost 12:30 in the evening when we arrived. When we checked in, they said there was no room for us. We had already confirmed the room and paid the money. The front desk clerk just said sorry. I asked to see the manager, but she said the manager was asleep. I couldn't believe it! By then we were waiting until almost 1:15, and we ladies had not been able to find another house even at this late hour. We booked the room through Xicheng. Their after-sales service was first-rate and impressed me. Although we were anxious, their employee Leon responded immediately and was always there to help. The problem was solved and we ended up staying in another hotel. We will never book a Mercure hotel again.
