Came here on our honeymoon and were given the warmest welcome. The setting was beautiful and serene. We liked wandering through the gardens before dinner at the excellent on site restaurant. There is a large park right next to the hotel and I liked going for a run around the lake in the mornings. Everything was so great, we chose to extend our stay by another night!

Impeccable. I wanted a nice upscale stay and the well known hotel with the garden was not super accommodating when I called them to reschedule my trip, in fact they were rude. I decided to take a chance and find somewhere else and did I find a gem! We stayed in the Villa. It was incredible and the grounds were stunning. A short walk to the lake as well. I have a feeling this is an up and coming place that will be tough to book in the future, stay here, it’s an incredible stay. The people make the place as well, sweet, kind and genuine

Minha esposa e eu viemos para ficar por 4 noites e acabamos por ficar 8 dias da nossa viagem de 20 dias aos Açores. O nosso quarto é dos favoritos e eu a recomendo fortemente. Não é um hotel típico, mas na minha opinião é muito melhor. Todo Staff muito humilde, simpáticos e sempre pronto a ajudar, dado o tamanho pequeno de toda a instalação, fiquei impressionado com o quanto eles estavam disponíveis. As vilas (basicamente pequenos apartamentos independentes de 1 quarto) eram lindas e confortáveis. O restaurante, que era muito bom. Voltamos diariamente a noite apenas para coquetéis e para sentar no jardim. Além disso, você pode facilmente chegar à cidade de Furnas em cerca de 10 minutos ou caminhar direto da garagem e ao redor do Lago Furnas - ótima localização. Como arquiteto, apreciei a qualidade de todo o campus. O proprietário mora no local e tenho a sensação de que eles tomam muito cuidado no planejamento deste lugar. Eles também têm cavalos.

Beautiful Resort - Needs Some Amenities
I should say to start - the resort overall is beautiful and location wonderful. The unit we stayed in was spacious and clean; the restaurant is fantastic, both in terms of quality and appearance; the staff are friendly and helpful. However, there a couple issues that are related to climate and location that the resort needs to account for. Things get wet and stay wet - there was basically no means to dry our clothes. There are no dryers or fans in the units, so it is impossible to get rid of moisture, given the high humidity and nearly constant rain. The unit definitely smelled of mildew and, perhaps, mold - not the healthiest I am sure. At the very least, providing guests with strong fans I think is essential...

Fantastic hotel just outside the town of Furnas. This was the perfect starting place to explore the island and enjoy all the beautiful nature it has to offer. Very serene and welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff who gave us some great recommendations for sights to see and things to do.
