Just returned from one of the best stays we have encountered in Ireland. Padraicins is located in Furbo, County Connemara, east of Galway city. The location is fantastic, with a lovely beach over looking Galway Bay and the mountains of County Clare. We stayed for four nights in room 8, a family room with two double beds, the views over the bay and beach from the windows was great. Room was very clean, very spacious, beds were very comfortable, tea, coffee, bottled water and biscuits were provided. Room was serviced every day. The public bar, Lounge and restaurant were spotlessly clean, staff were very efficient, great service and friendly. The Breakfast was second to none, delicious fully cooked Irish breakfast and plenty of other options. On the subject of food we ate for three of our four nights in the restaurant, the menu was very extensive, food was home cooked, absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced, once again as said before staff very efficient, great service and friendly. The location is ideal for touring Connemara, Kylemore Abbey, Clifden, etc and of course Galway, which is about 20 minutes drive away. If you wish you can catch the 424 bus to Galway, 4 euro single or 7 return, Taxi fare is about 25 to 30 euros each way to Galway. Don't forget to ask any member of staff, who are more than helpful with information, about local area and anything else you might need to know. All in all this is a gem of a place to stay on all aspects, highly recommended and not to be missed, we will certainly be staying and dining here again.

Just popped into Padraicin's in Furbo , for dinner.. absolutely amazing food. Generous portions.. reasonably priced. Great value . Excellent service.. Receptionist very efficient..Waitress very helpful...we will definitely be back.. A gem outside the City..

Padraicin B&B about 20 min drive from Galway. Kind management is very busy with the restaurant below which closes at 9pm and does not disturb the rooms. We had the "sea view room", very comfortable. The view is between the road and the sea, but pleasant since you can see the sea while lying on the bed. Good linen, Nice beach below you can swim! Breakfast in the restaurant with a choice of menus, from traditional to smoked salmon. Great stay at a fair price! If you have to have dinner, it's better to reserve in advance. Advised!

Beautiful spot on the coast just a 10 minute drive from center of Galway. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and the views were just lovely. We enjoyed the food, drink, and stay after a long day of driving.

Although located in a beautiful spot, our experience at this B&B was simply awful. The room was very stuffy when we arrived and the owners had permanently screwed all the windows shut so there was no way to get any fresh air into the room. (As all rooms were on the second floor, I cannot imagine why the windows were screwed shut.) A rather pathetic electrical fan was provided but all it did was blow the hot stale air around. I soaked my hair in hopes of cooling off enough to sleep, but even that did little to help and I didn’t sleep at all that night. Equally disappointing was the breakfast that was included. Sugary cereals and withered fruit was on offer. In terms of cooked items, the food was tasteless. The eggs were water-logged, the tomatoes and mushrooms were very bland, and the toast was hard as a rock. We stayed in 12 different B&B’s during our trip. This was by far the absolute worst. Avoid this establishment.

Excellent B&B located on the upper floor of the restaurant; large, clean rooms, excellent views and equipped with many comforts (hairdryer, kettle, etc.). The staff is very kind and helpful. Ample parking available for guests. The good breakfast is served in the restaurant from 8.30 to 10.30 in the restaurant room. Their restaurant is also excellent

Great stay - Wonderful experience, every member of staff is so welcoming, stayrd in a great room (room6) overlooking the bay, comfy bed and pillows, would come back in a heart beat. The breakfast was outstanding, freshly cooked, good portions all round
