Furano Lofts

Our family of 4, including two young kids, had an absolutely amazing time at the Furano Lofts, thanks to the incredibly gracious hospitality of Leon and Tim and their immaculate attention to detail at the property. Furano is a fantastic destination to enjoy epic Japanese powder skiing conditions without much of the commercialism and crowds of other resort tows. As much as we enjoyed our time, what really stuck out in my mind that exemplifies the high standard of service at Furano Lofts was something they did for another guest. Each evening when we returned from dinner to the property on the resort shuttle, we always saw a small wood-burning fire lit in front of a stand at the edge of the property. I wondered what the purpose of that fire was: ritual? functional? cosmetic? Finally one day we thought to ask Leon, and he told us the story. The lovely couple staying in one of the other townhouses are evidently regulars and come annually for an extended stay. The husband is a smoker (always exceedingly respectful), and on his first visit, Leon and Tim noticed that he seemed to get quite chilly standing in the evening sub-freezing temperatures whilst enjoying his cigarettes. So, unprompted by the guest, the staff purchased a small fire pit which they clean, replenish, and light nightly to make his evening smoking sessions more comfortable while staying there. It is this level of thoughtful consideration for their guests that is the hallmark of Furano Lofts and why we look forward to visiting again soon!

Wonderful stay! The apt was designed impeccably, with thoughtful details and had everything we needed for a week’s stay. Bed was super comfy! Not only was the apt great, services from Leon, Tim and the team are top notch! They helped me find and arrange a bday cake for a special occasion. Plus gave us lots of tips and suggestions about the area. Walking distance to the Kitanomine slopes are not far, shuttle services to and from the slopes are offered on demand and so convenient! My family of 7 stayed there in July 2024. The chalet we booked had 4 rooms and 3 bathrooms. The chalet was impeccably maintained. We can tell the owner takes special pride in his property. Leon and Tim were excellent hosts. We were so warmed by their hospitality. They gave very good suggestions for food and sightseeing. They even went out of their way to help us find suitable restaurants for booking at the last minute which we really appreciate. Overall, they made us feel like we were staying in a close relative's home. Would love to visit again another time.

This is my second time staying at Furano Lofts. The first time 6 of us stayed at the Chalet, which was fantastic, with a well-equipped kitchen and washing amenities. Large, spacious living and dining rooms, great for communal bonding post-ski. This year, 5 of us chose the mori and moto apartments. I was on the ground floor moto apartment, it was a lovely, luxurious and comfortable 5-night stay! The best accommodation you can get in Furano for 2 people, as it was spacious and well-equipped. Leon and Tim are excellent hosts, who go beyond and above their duties to make our stay comfortable and hassle free. Kudos to the gentlemen!

What to say about Furano Lofts? Everything about our holiday experience at Furano Lofts was perfect from the moment we arrived. We felt as though we were the only people staying at The Lofts, even though the apartments were fully booked. Our Moto apartment was spotlessly clean and could have been brand new. All appointments are of superior standard and every consideration has been given to guest comfort and convenience. (The combined washing machine/dryer is amazing!) The hosts, Leon and Tim, have an extensive knowledge of the local area and nothing is too much trouble. Their attention to detail is first class and we genuinely felt that their sole purpose was to ensure that all of our holiday needs were met. This included on-demand drop offs and pickups to and from the ski slopes, as well as restaurant recommendations and bookings which were tailored to our taste requests. We have never felt so valued as guests anywhere else in our travels. Furano as a holiday destination offers so much to explore and experience in all seasons. This was our first visit, and we are already planning to return, to stay at Furano Lofts. It is outstanding value for money and worth every cent.

It has been a minute since I have been back, due to travel/pandemic etc., but this upscale home away from home hasn't changed... just excellent. For me, I need a space that is clean, convenient, relaxing place to hang out with family and friends while on vacation. I don't necessarily need every service such as five on-property restaurants, 15 pools and a gaming venue. This quaint group of lofts are just amazing for a vacation... upscale, quite, nice decor, well kept and tidy. The service at this property is beyond amazing... it is 7 stars, probably better than the most of those claimed 7 star hotels. Leon and Tim are superstars. They have a world of knowledge and they have your best interest in mind always. They will give you advice on just about anything. They are here early in the morning to greet you and late at night to say good evening. I can't imagine how many times a day they have to put their winter boots to meet and greet people all day. You would think they would be so tired of guests asking them to do stuff by now, but like I said, it's been years and the service is still top rate! For that alone, you have to come to the Furano Lofts!
