Pet friendly Hotels Funchal

Everything was fantastic, hotel location, services and design of the hotel. I enjoyed the 2 nights there. Unfortunately the welcoming was not good for me as I waited for 3 hours and 20 minutes. Yes I came early before the check in time which is 2 Pm and I came at 11:50 and the front deck staff ( Eduard ) confirm to me that my room will be ready at 2 pm but till 3:10 pm only I got to my room after I esclate my issue to the front deck manager ( Peter ), the problem was not about the time I lost, but the attitude of front deck staff as he is looking to my face multiple times and he didn’t come to say sorry that your room not yet ready just to apologizing…

Wir waren leider nicht wirklich zufrieden. Die Lage war wunderschön! Jedoch war das Hotel viel zu groß, um sich wohlzufühlen…beim Frühstück war es extrem laut, die Mitarbeiter überfordert und das Buffet total verstreut. Innerhalb der hoteleigenen Restaurants wurde man ziemlich über den Tisch gezogen, indem sie einem immer wieder Brot und Wasser anboten, was schlussendlich auf der Rechnung stand! Des Weiteren zahlt man eine Service-Gebühr von 10% für einen Service, der nicht anders war als in einem normalen Restaurant, wo man diese nicht zahlen muss. Dafür, dass es ein 5-Sterne-Hotel ist, bietet es ziemlich wenig und ist leider nur auf Profit und nicht auf das Wohl der Gäste aus. Für den Preis nicht zu empfehlen! Schade….

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Overall a very good breakfast. Nice room. Overall everything was super and I recommend this hotel if you are considering a budget option for a holiday in Madeira.

It was a great stay, and exceptional treatment, flexible hours for checking in and a good atmosphere. Everything was clean and comfortable, there was no noise and parking was relatively easy to find.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Lido area; great restaurants around the hotel and the airport bus stops right outside the hotel (return cost 8 euros)! Staff really friendly also and the team arranged a little surprise for my partner s birthday also. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast buffet was really good too with lots of choices. Hotel amenities were good too. All in all a great hotel. We also enjoyed the 30min walk to the old town from hotel but appreciate this may not be for everybody…though plenty taxis and the local bus route are a skip and a hop away.

The staff were all very kind, but the facilities were basic. There were no slippers, no tissues, no shampoo, conditioner or body soap in the room, only hand soap. Also, even though I'm a woman, my room was on the first floor and was completely visible from the pool unless I closed the curtains, and I had to carry my suitcase up the stairs. The staff were very kind to me, so I don't want to say anything bad about it, but I feel like they could have done something about it. However, I wanted to catch the ferry, so I stayed at the closest hotel to the ferry terminal.

The breakfast is very good, suitable for children, the location of the hotel is impeccable, it can be said that the best. Recommended by British friends, the price is more expensive than other hotels. I didn't feel anything special when I looked at the website pictures, but I still believe in my friends and I booked them. Check-in is at night, from the front desk reception to the lead to the room to experience the professional, enthusiastic and meticulous service of the hotel staff. Needless to mention the room, there is a hotel manager's personal welcome speech, service introduction box, postcard, welcome dessert... Feel the bay's breeze night view on the balcony, drink some red wine, great. After a long-distance flight, take a shower in the classic and elegant bathtub, sweet as a dream. At 7 o'clock in the morning, the sun has not come out, greet a new day in the heated swimming pool in Jingyi. If you like sea water, you can swim in two seawater swimming pools, especially the unique piscina pool on the beach, let you let go of your imagination. Breakfast is a surprise. Every meal is carefully prepared, with a wide selection of ingredients, a wide variety of foods, and a lot of local specialties. The tableware is exquisite, and you can enjoy the feeling of the rising sun. The breakfast manager is great, remembering the name of each guest and feeling warm. The garden of the hotel, as a gardening professional, can only Wow, linger on, can't bear to leave, look at the picture... Hotel bem localizado, espaço muito agradável. Quarto para casal com duas camas juntas, o embora muito confortáveis não é agradável para um casal, de resto vale a pena, é acolhedor e muito charmoso. Recomendo!

Located about 5km from the centre but easily accessible by local bus. Airport bus stop directly outside hotel. Decent breakfast. Rooms a little old and some rooms smell musty. Feels a bit like a package holiday hotel but reasonable value for money. First time I’ve ever seen a hotel place an extra charge for using an in-room safe.

Adjacent to the pestana miramar hotel, there is a small kitchen in the room, but I did not try it, breakfast is OK. Recommended overall, but if there are higher requirements, recommend pestana grand
