A lovely place and location and beautiful pool. The staff were very friendly BUT we had to change rooms after one night (were there for four) as the ceiling ran water from the light fixture in bath room. I almost fell as there was so much water. Also while in this room our key didn't work right away (yes it was kept where is was suppose to be..no cards no phones) They key thing happened 2 or 3 more times in second room. Got tired of making trips to office so tried to call. Phone wouldn't work to front desk. Then the shower..no water pressure. We had to go to my friends house to shower. Then I was given $20 as compensation! Kind of insulting!

The Inn looks nice, its old but clean, pool area is nice, breakfast is limited. Adults standing drunk in pool, music blaring. They were in 4 hours so that means there was second hand beer in the pool. Not kid friendly. We had to wait until next day that we witnessed pool being cleaned before kids got in. inconsiderate guests and no rule enforcement.

Everything was pretty great about this property. Nice rooms, the staff were attentive and welcoming, great pool and beautiful surrounding area! I wish they had more of a variety for breakfast. Other than that, it all was pretty good.

Was not very pleased with this hotel. When I booked this room I was made to believe that the hotel was next to the Lighthouse but it is a block or more away. Would not go back there again.Very disappointed that ******* put this listing next to the Lighthouse.

A well maintained and clean property. Our double room had an equipped kitchenette. We found the air conditioner loud and managed by keeping the fan on continuously. A nice pool with splash pad and features appealing to youth. About 4 miles from Rockport beach. Breakfast was no-frills continental pre-packaged food, but there's always the kitchenette.

For the price of our stay, I definitely expected more. The floors in the rooms (2) were disgusting, leaving our feet black after showering (photos available). The tub in our shower was cracked and "fixed" with putty. There were german cockroaches ( ideo available) in one room and dead spiders left on the floor in another. The continental breakfast was lacking, but convenient. The staff were all amazing! The pool was beautiful, and was perfect for all ages. There was little overseeing allowing for kids screaming and running around without supervision. The location was convenient to eating, walking, and playing!

I liked this property, for my needs it was very convenient. I did note it seemed a little worn but was very clean. I would/will stay here again on my next Rockport trip.

This is absolutely one of our favorite places. My wife stumbled upon this Inn about 5 years ago and we try to come every year. They have a great pool area and it's right by the fishing pier. There are so many options to eat and drink within walking distance. I can't wait to come back even before checking out.
