"We arrived at the hotel at 6:00 PM that evening. The hotel's exterior was stunning from the first glance. The cozy lobby, with its warm yellow lighting and powerful heating, was truly welcoming. The female staff was incredibly friendly and explained everything in detail in fluent English. They even gave me a brief tour of the hotel.
The hotel has a free water dispenser with large bottles for self-use. Toothbrushes, combs, and other toiletries are available at the self-service area for self-service.
The green light in the hotel elevator was a bit odd 🤣. The hotel is designed like an apartment, with four rooms on one floor, and an open-plan layout. Anyone who's watched the Japanese anime ”We Are the One” will understand.
The hotel rooms are spacious. The double room was perfectly spacious for a 29-inch suitcase. Perhaps due to the airy, spacious interior, even with the heater on in the winter, it still felt a bit chilly at night. The room was clean, with an industrial-style design, wooden tables, and comfortable lighting. The bed was large and perfectly firm. There was a tablet with information about the hotel and nearby attractions.
This hotel is affiliated with the Fukuyama Oriental Hotel, so you can use the hotel's large public bath. While it's less than a minute's walk, it was quite cold and irritating to walk out in winter wearing only a yukata. The bathhouse is clean and comfortable, but small, with only four bathing spots. It was quite crowded that evening at 8:00 PM, so there was a slight queue.
The hotel is also close to the famous Onomichi Ramen, a 6-7 minute walk away near Fukuyama Station. The line was about 10 minutes, but the food was delicious and I felt warm and satisfied afterward!
The hotel's breakfast was delicious, with several options for food and drinks. I chose a hot dog and hot coffee, which was delicious. It was a shame I had to rush to a schedule, otherwise I could have stayed longer at the hotel and enjoyed it.
A great experience! I will definitely be back! Next time I'll definitely have a drink at the hotel bar 🍺"
"The room is large and the double bed is enough for a family of four. The disadvantage is that there is no place to put clothes in the bathroom. You need to put them on a small chair by the door. Free drinks/breakfast are available."
"When I checked in, they were smiling and polite, and answered my questions right away. I was also happy to receive warm greetings at the restaurant and breakfast venue! Thank you so much. If I come to Fukuyama again, I will definitely stay here!"
"Super good hotel!
Everything was perfect, in particular the front desk staff were really friendly and helpful, helping me to book a massage and also recommending and reserving a good sashimi restaurant at short notice.
Great view of Fukuyama Castle from the window. Even a massage chair in the room, the first time I’ve ever seen this in a hotel room!
Great location in a lively area."
"The room was a bit small, but the first floor was convenient at a convenience store. The breakfast was delicious and the people at the hotel were kind and easy to spend. It was a little difficult to do a hair dryer."
"The view outside the window is very good, Fukuyama Castle, I just skipped the trip just by looking out the window 🤣The hotel facilities are average, the cost is relatively high during the New Year period, the breakfast is ok, I stayed for two nights for the convenience of going to Onomichi Onomichi has a stunning view!"
"Although it is a convenient location in front of the station, the entrance to the underground parking lot was small and easy to enter.
The motorcycle space in the underground parking lot will be full if you enter 3 large cars, so you should make a reservation."
"Clean and comfortable hotel situated close to transport ie train station, shops and restaurants. Comfy beds, great bathtub and good sized rooms. The only drawback was the bright light that would go on in the toilet at night. Breakfast was well organised with lots of choices. There is a laundry with dryers as well but it was on a different floor."
"As you'd expect from a company with a nationwide presence, the overall experience was very good.
I had to join a web conference just before or after check-out in the morning, but they were able to lend me an empty space in the lobby even after I checked out.
This was extremely helpful.
I'd like to use their services again."

Great
DDonaldDongBecause the flight to Okayama was diverted to Osaka and cancelled, we arrived about three hours later than expected. After calling the hotel, they helped us reserve dinner (normally dinner is at 7 o'clock at the latest). After arriving at about 8 o'clock, dinner was served as originally scheduled, which was very good. The room is spacious and very clean, with four beds, and it looks like you can also sleep on the floor. This room is 85 square meters, which is no problem for a family. The decoration quality is very high, and there is a type-c USB port on the wall, a full set of Sony TVs, echo walls, etc. There is only Japanese breakfast, but the room type I booked can go to a room similar to the executive lounge, which has coffee, drinks, small pastries, etc., as well as drinks, all free. The hotel service is very good, and there are waiters who speak English. The shuttle bus to Fukuyama Station takes about half an hour, and the schedule can be checked on the official website. The hot spring is clean, there is also water massage, and there is a sauna room. There is an open-air hot spring pool on the third floor and on the top floor, but it was too cold when I went there. Very good hotel, with few people.
GGuest UserThe staff was very nice and helped me carry my luggage to the third floor, which was a bit shaky. 👍 The suitcases could be spread out, leaving plenty of space. The wind was blowing from the construction site, and the place where my head rested was an unwrapped beam with two wooden planks, which felt unsafe, so I switched sides.
GGuest UserOur family of four was looking for a special experience off the beaten path. This hotel was lovely. We reserved a private onsen so we could try that. We also enjoyed our multicourse dinner and authentic Japanese breakfast, package which we never would have known to order. The staff was lovely and the concierge spoke excellent English, which was very helpful for us. Tomonoura is a cute little town and the ferry over to the island was fun.
HHidekiI think there is a loss for the stress because the elevator was under repair, but the front desk was too Frank as an accommodation business.
I wonder if it's an inbound specification.
It is interesting that the bath of the cherry blossom is the first time, but it was reluctant to do it with many osan.
TTAKEGAMIBreakfast was delicious. I give top priority to hotels with large communal baths and saunas when staying at business hotels.
Candeo Fukuyama had a good sauna, but the temperature of the cold bath was high, and it was a pity that it was estimated to be 25 degrees C, and it was not refreshing. I want you to make it at least 20 degrees C or less. I hope to improve.
じじん010It was close to the station and there was a convenience store right there, and it was very convenient because it was nearby because I rented a car at Times. Also, the inside of the hotel was beautiful, and even though it was near the station, I could spend a relaxing time without the sound of trains and Shinkansen. I will use it again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.
HHIROSHII got a contact from the hotel staff that the tires of the car parked in the parking lot were punk.
I got a sense of trust that I was looking around the parking lot and paying attention to the car.
The staff is smiling and kind.
The restaurant with dinner was delicious with many kinds of dishes.
The bath is clean and comfortable.
