This was my first time staying at Toyoko Inn Hakata Nishinakasu. It was a Saturday and included breakfast, but the price was reasonable and we were able to go drinking nearby in the evening with our family of 14, and we even had curry for breakfast. As the name suggests, it is located on the western edge of Nakasu and is within walking distance of Tenjin. It faces Kokutai-dori street so it can get a little lively at night, but you won't have to worry about sleeping unless you're on a lower floor.
