It's not very cheap, and it's an old capsule. I think the large public bath is nice. I chose the Royal Capsule, but I didn't really understand what was so royal about it. You can't bring in food or drinks, it's a hassle to go out, and there are many other things that make it difficult to use.

First, the bad points: There is a simple air conditioner, but it only creates a very gentle breeze. So, even though it was still April, it was hot inside the capsule. There was a wooden slatted floor under the futon, but it was really hard. I woke up several times in the middle of the night. The volume knob on the TV was broken and I couldn't adjust it. There are toothbrushes and razors in the bathroom, but the razors are the cheap ones with very sharp blades, so be careful as they cut your skin and cause bleeding. The toothbrushes come with a tiny amount of toothpaste on them, but they don't create much foam, so it's better to bring your own toothpaste. You are free to go out, but you have to leave your key at the front desk every time you go out. You can't go out unless you get a pass to go out, so if there are other guests waiting in line, you have to wait for several minutes. Good points: The front desk staff's service. There are 4-5 staff members, and they seem to be very experienced. They handle things quickly. The baths and saunas are available 24 hours a day, so you can use them whenever you want. It is within a 3 to 5 minute walk from Hakata Station.

This is my first time using it. Fukuoka has also seen an increase in inbound tourists, making it difficult to secure last-minute accommodation. Even if it was empty, it was much more expensive than usual. In the meantime, choose this one. This is probably the third time I've used capsules in my life. (The first time was a connected room, and the second time was a private room.) Although it was a little more expensive, I chose the Royal Private Room. There was a small line at the reception. Get the locker key and go to the EV. I open the heavy door from the EV hall and walk down the dimly lit hallway towards my room. At this point, the inside of the building has a scene-like atmosphere. It was around 8pm, but the private room was quiet. I quietly opened the accordion curtain and entered the room. It's quite spacious. The futon is also comfortable. I could watch TV normally. The sauna has a capacity of about 10 people. The flow line between the water supply machine and cold bath was also good. I ended up using it twice, once at night and once in the morning. There are enough amenities available for you to enjoy. This time I didn't take a bath in the open-air bath. There is ample space for washing, a spacious toilet, and a working space (where you can eat and drink) in the common areas. Some of the royal private rooms had windows facing Taihaku Street. The grade here is unknown. ◾️Good points - Surprisingly quiet. I slept better than at home. - Spacious bath (with sauna). You can spend a long time.・Inexpensive considering it's a hotel with a large public bath. ◾️Bad points - The inside of the locker smells.・An uncle accidentally broke into the wrong room (his fault).
