There is a Toyoko Hotel in front of Hakata Station, and I almost checked in at the wrong place, but the hotel staff kindly explained to me. The hotel I booked was behind it.
There was only one elevator, so you may have to wait a little, but as long as you don't leave at the last minute, it should be fine.
